2.81 Heretics Gone Mad

At the Foreclosed House.

I rang the doorbell with a vase of purple orchids in her hands.

One of the heretics opened. The brunette one. 

I fake smiled "Welcome to Mystic Falls! I'm Adelaide."

She just starred at me.

Heretic " We're not interested."

She went to shut the door, but I stopped her.

I shook my head smiling "Don't worry, I'm not selling anything. I'm your neighbor from down the block!"

She asked unimpressed " So?"

I had to buy Matt time to slip the bomb inside from the back door.

I slipped past the heretic inside the house and looked around the foyer "Wow! Great place. Love what you've done with the floors. Is this the original hardwood?"

Three more heretic were sitting in the living room. Oh shit. One of the blondes was playing solitaire on the coffee table, and the other blonde and the guys were reading books.

The other blonde with the book looked at me "It's a gargantuan hell-hole. No one gives a damn about the floors."

Another one walked inside with a cup of blood in his hand. 

Me "Well, I brought you guys a housewarming gift. Mystic Falls tradition."

The girl who's playing solitaire "Valerie's allergic to nature."

Me "yeah, I'm just gonna put this right over here. Then..."

I put it on a table but then i heard a squeal. I purposely knocked a deer figure off the table. The shattering ceramic covered the squeal.

Me "I am so sorry!"

The brunette and the blonde with the book looked frustrated when when i picked up the broken pieces of the deer. 

Me "I'm normally not that clumsy. So, where are you guys from?"

The brunette looked me op and down when the other blonde stopped with the game and walked to us. 

Brunette" I do love that jacket."

Me "Thanks"

The brunette looked at the blonde " Don't you just love what she's wearing?"

Blonde "It's fine, though it would look entirely better on you."

Suddenly i saw Matt standing in the door frame. I breathed out relieved. I've never felt more happy to see Matt.

Matt "Hey, Adi-- we should really get going to that barbecue."

The blonde " And you would be...?"

Matt " Her ride. Ad, we should really go."

Oh shit.

Brunette  "Adi" isn't leaving yet."

I raised an eyebrow. 

She tried to compel me " Give me your jacket."

I had to hold back an eye roll. 

I played along and gave her my jacket "Here! take my jacket "

She smile " Thank you. How sweet you are!"

She put on the jacket and turned to the blonde.

Me "See you!"

I turned around to leave but i got spun around by the blonde.

Blonde "Wait."

I looked at her.
