“What about this dress, Moll?” Nicole asked.
“No, its too… Princessy. I just want a simple, long, white dress.”
I decided to take Lauren, Nicole, Sarah and Georgina out to help me find a wedding dress and their bridesmaids dresses. They are the closest girls I’ve got now and they’ve become my sisters. Well, Sarah will be my sister-in-law soon. The big day, 1 week away. Everything else is sorted; guest list, food, church, hall, Dan’s suit, the guys suits, the DJ. All that was left is my dress and the bridesmaids… Great.
“How about this one?” Lauren asked. She picked out a perfect dress. White, simple and long.
“Lauren, that’s perfect!”
“Go on, try it on Molls!” Georgina egged me on. It was my size too. I went into the changing room slipped it on with some shoes and walked out.
“So, what you think?”
Everyone gasped.
“Its beautiful Molly.” Lauren commented.
I looked in the mirror and turned to the side. “Oh my God, I’m showing! Only a small bump but I’m showing!” I shrieked. The wedding and having a baby is so exciting!
“Let me feel, let me feel!” Sarah said, running up to me.
“You won’t feel anything yet Sarah. Its probably the size of a fucking kidney bean!” I said. We all laughed as she put her hand on my tummy.
”Oh… I knew that.” she tried to hide her embarrassment, pulling her hand away. ”I’m just so excited, I’m going to be an auntie!”
”Yes you are! What do you all think of the dress? Do you think Dan will like it?” I asked, biting my nails slightly.
"Like it?” Nicole asked. "He’s going to love it! You look stunning in it.”
I went back into the changing room and took it off. I couldn’t stop staring at the dress. It’s perfect, it’s beautiful, it’s everything I’ve wanted in a dress.
“That would be £980 please.” the sales assistant said. I handed her the money and off we went to for a bit of lunch before getting the bridesmaids dresses.
We got to Starbucks and decided to grab a drink and something to munch on. I was craving a Chocolate Muffin with a Belgian Chocolate Sauce centre so I decided to buy 4. I couldn’t help it, I craved it so much. I also bought a hot chocolate. I think my craving is chocolate. Definitely. I think I’m going to like this pregnancy.
“So, got any names yet?” Georgina asked as we sat down at a table.
“I’ve got one that I love so much and me and Dan have agreed on it.” I said, smirking slightly.
”Well tell us then!” Lauren shouted at me with excitement.
“Okay!” I took a bite out of my muffin. “If we have a boy, he’s going to be known as ‘Noah Daniel David Flint’ What do you all think?”
Everyone aw’d in unison.
“You’ve included dad into it, that’s so thoughtful.” Sarah said. I could see her eyes welling up slightly and she hugged me from across the table.
“It’s beautiful, Moll.” Georgina commented after Sarah.
“And what happens if it’s a girl?” Nicole asked.
