It was early in the morning and I was sitting at my desk wondering if I should skip today or not. I knew it would be a fight if I did, but I really didn't want to fight Michael today. We have been separated for about there months now and he was being all bitchy, like he really loved me.  The papers on my desk were either school write ups or groups that I was never going to join.  My room wasn't boring as most people think. To be honest it is really cool, for a troubled teen. I had band stickers and posters everywhere. My bed was huge and I had a walk in closet. Christmas lights were hung all the way around the top of my room and I had a lamp with different colored lights. My wallpaper was black,  bright colors really set off my room.

My mom had already left so I was home alone. I decided to go to the gas station down the street and get a monster and a pack of gum. On my way there I saw Bryon walking down to the gas station with his head low and his hands shoved in his pockets. He looked like a drug dealer from the back, but I knew better.  I skated by and he looked up and gave me one of those flirty smiles and winked. This shocked me because 1- he is hot 2-he is popular and 3- he is hot. I lost balance and fell and yes, if your wondering, he laughed. He ran over to help me up and I was so shocked I couldn't say a word.

"Brook, right?"  He asked while giving me another smile.

"Yes, and uh Bryon?" I stuttered.

"Well I have to go, see ya later." Bryon finished.

           "Okay" I whispered

Later that night, I was looking out my window wondering why I had been so shy around Bryon. I was never afraid to talk to boys, but he was different.  Bryon made me stutter, I didn't even  stutter when I met Michael.  Bryon was really a nice guy, but I wonder what was going on in his head, about me.
