When the idea first came to me I was going to name it Grit & Glamour but I botched the idea and named it what you see above. The characters aren't just one thing, because let's face it everyone has a dark side, some are just darker than others. I'm going to tap into that and let the good and bad times roll.

Watch out for certain characters, some may reveal themselves sooner than others. It's sort of a Alice in Wonderland meets Cinderella vs Beauty and The Beast world.

168 Hours Earlier...

The pain in my head intensified as I opened my eyes and blink away the sleep

The pain in my head intensified as I opened my eyes and blink away the sleep. And blink some more just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I tentatively reached down and poked the arm that is currently draped over my hip. I didn't dare look at who that arm was connected to. I could feel the heat radiating from his body. It didn't take much to know what I had done was real.

So last night wasn't a bad dream. I squeeze my eyes shut and wished the last twenty-four hours away. But the opposite happened as images began creeping into my mind.

Kisses. Caresses. Thrusts.

They all clouded my alcohol hazed brain. What the hell was I thinking? Come on Pia, you knew what you were doing!

I know what you're thinking. And believe me, I'm not normally this way. But last night was the most fun I've had in a year. I moved from Georgia to California, in my pursuit of proving myself to my overachieving parents and perfect siblings.

All I have proved so far is that I can make horrible mistakes. I turn my head in his direction, opened my eyes to meet the light colored blue hues of my bed partner. I groaned, wishing I wasn't laying next to Holden Bradford Reeve.

Anyone but him.

Holden wasn't my typical lay. I usually go for men who don't have to hang onto the coat-tails of their parents to make ends meet. He flashes me a devious smile. My ovaries screamed for that perfect smile.
