The Au pair

The invite

" So you're going for uber drivers now ?" Grant blocks me in the doorway , with a suspicious raised eyebrow and crossed arms .

He's wearing a periwinkle blue collared shirt that hugged his fit physique just so , and just as well fitted navy blue slacks .

I nudged my way past him , questioning why he cared about the fact that I went out with an uber driver .

" I finally got out the house and had a good time , so yes I suppose ."

He raises his hands in faux defeat

" Look , I just know very successful people that could ensure you have a good time . And most likely better than Mr. Uber driver . "

He looked off deep in thought for a second , and turned back to me .

" Did you guys fuck ?"

Rage filled me like a scorching liquid rushing through my veins .

" That is very inappropriate grant ."

He didn't hesitate to reply .

" Okay you didn't , I'm glad . Too many guys around here have stds and are just total scumbags . You're too beautiful to be a one night stand anyways ."

His statement smacked me in the face , and my chest felt a surge of fluttering , my cheeks burned like hell simultaneously.

He knew he had me.

" If you want to attend this mystery event with me tomorrow, I'll invite you as my plus one . "

I instantly became curious , and my curiosity must've  been one hundred percent noticeable on my face, because when I looked back at him his lips curled into a devilish grin .

" I'll make sure to show you a good time , if you're up for it ."

He looked at me in the eye a second longer than I was comfortable with , and I agreed quickly just so I could turn elsewhere to hide my flushed cheeks .

He smiled with his perfect American teeth , and wished me a good night , heading up to his room .

I was scared and excited to see what he had up his sleeve .
