Kj's POV
I was just waiting outside the audition room when I see her. A beautiful raven haired girl walk out of the room. "Camila, we will call you, if you get the roll." Some man says, holding a clipboard.
"We need KJ Apa?"
I snapped out of my thoughts on the beautiful girl when I hear my name
"Uh that's me...Hi."
"Come on in."
I follow the man into the room passing by the beautiful girl who's name I now know is Camila. We share a smile as I walk by, I feel her stare on me as I walk in the door, I follow him into a smaller room, and do my audition. I think it went well,
"Great job Kj, I'm Roberto, I direct and write this show, you will receive a phone call soon if you get the part." He says closing the door behind me, I get into my car and drive back to my apartment. On the way I can't stop thinking about that girl, she was so beautiful. When I get home I'm exhausted, I pass out on the couch still in my clothes. I wake up to my cell phone ringing, unknown number.
"Hello?" I say, my voice cracking since it's so early.
"Hi Kj Apa?" A man says on the other line
"Yes?" I reply
"Hello, it's Roberto from the audition yesterday. I wanted to let you know you go the part to play Archie Andrews." He says,
"Really, wow I'm speechless. Thank you so much"
"Were having a little meeting party tonight, just a k every one can meet, where you will be living and some arrangements."
"Okay, see you tonight." I say, I immediately call my parents and sister to tell them the great news. I put on a pair of dark dress up pants and a light grey long sleeve button up and a blazer over it.I take an Uber to the location, I'm not sure what I'm doing tonight. I arrive to one of the nicest hotels in all of Los Anglos, I'm not from around here but I've lived here for over two months. I've learned to know what's nice and what's not.
I walk into the lobby, I can't help but walk around admiring all the beautiful art work.
"Excuse me sir, are you Kj Apa ?" A tall man wearing a expensive looking suit asks.
"Yes" I respond.
"Roberto, and the others are upstairs on level 3, room 505, it's a meeting room." He says showing me the elevator.
I get into the empty elevator, and press level 3, the doors start to close.
"Wait! Wait!" I hear a girl yelling, I press open and the doors open back up. I couldn't believe it, it was the beautiful raven haired girl from auditions. I couldn't help but stare, she was so beautiful.
"Thank you so much" she says,
"You look familiar, did I see you yesterday at auditions?" She asks starring up at me with her beautiful brown eyes, she was short no taller them 5'5. She was wearing a beautiful black checkered dress, that had a long v neck,it fit her perfectly.
"Yes, you did." I respond
"I'm Camila Mendes" she says smiling
"I'm Kj Apa" the doors open and we walk into the room. It looks like everyone else is already here I think to myself.
"Our last two cast members, Archie Andrews and Veronica Lodge aka Kj Apa and Camila Mendes" Roberto announces to everyone in the room.
I notice Cole Spouse is here, wow I can't believe it, I'm a little star struck. I continue to watch Camila from a distance, she's talking mostly to the other girls. Everyone takes a seat, name tags are placed at each seat, they are assigned.
I sit between Cole and Camila.
"It's been a mission of mine to cast the perfect people to play these characters, I think we did an awesome job. The location is in Vancouver, Canada. We will start filming on Friday, your dialogue is in front of you. You will share a trailer, with the people you're sitting beside, four people a trailer. Enjoy tonight and here's to a new amazing tv series!" Roberto says raising his glass.
I talk to Cole for a bit, I learn he's actually a really cool guy, he attended NYU with Camila.
I head over to the bar, and order a whisky.
"One vodka on the rocks please" Camila orders taking a seat next to me.
"Is this your first show?" I ask her
"Yes, what about you?"
"I've been in the movie Dogs Purpose"
"Oh that's right, you played the boy."
"Yes I did" I say sipping my whisky,
"Here's your drink, Pretty Lady" an older guy says from behind the bar, she looked uncomfortable.
I take the drink from him, handing it to her.
"Thanks" she says standing up
"You must get that a lot?" I ask
"Get what?"
"Men running after you" I notice she starts to blush
"No, I bet you get that though" she says, making me blush, does this mean she thinks I'm attractive I wonder. We gaze into each others eyes, it was like everything else in the room didn't matter, it was only the two of us. Until we were interrupted, by Lili and Cole. " Looks like the four of us are sharing a trailer" the blonde girl named Lili Reinhardt says smiling.
I look over at Camila to see her on her phone, it looked like she was upset about something.
I walk over in her direction, I can hear her apologizing, it sounded like a man on the phone.
