Kj has been more distant and quiet around Camila lately, she started to notice a few weeks ago when he forgot about date night. Cami bought a new dress, did her hair and makeup and waited hours before taking it all off to go to bed. She woke up to a text from Kj saying he crashed at Coles. Cami didn't say anything about it, pretending she wasn't bothered by it.
A few days later he left in the morning without waking her up or leaving a note instead she got a text saying "had to go, see you later".
This would be acceptable if they haven't been dating for almost two years. But Kj never acted like this, he was always out going, loving and wanted to be with her 24/7. This was new and Cami didn't like it, one bit.
Camila and her best friend Lili we're having breakfast at their favourite cafe.
They were just taking about random topics until Camila brought up Kj.
"I think Kj's cheating" Cami finally blurted our cutting Lili off on her rant about the new script. Lili's eyes just about popped out of her head.
"You what!?" She practically choked on her pancakes. Cami sighed and explained everything she thought was 'suspicious' about him.
"Cam just relax, Kj loves you and he's probably just going through something or he's stressed about work." Cami nodded and sipped her coffee, she didn't want to talk about her boyfriend anymore.
The girls spent the rest of the afternoon shopping and no more boy talk.
Camila got back to her apartment around dinner time, Kj was in the shower.
She changed into sweats and a v neck when she saw his phone on the table.
She never snooped through his phone but when she saw lils names popped up with a few texts she decided to read them.
Lils: shes going to find out!
Lils: she thinks you're cheating Kj, you need to tell her.
Lils: honestly what are you waiting for she's going to just find out on her own
Lils: she's going to be pissed
Lils: you've been hiding it for weeks now, she's not stupid.
A million different thoughts were going through Camila's head, she dropped his phone on the floor on

Kj spent the day getting everything ready for tonight, he was finally going to ask her the four words he's been waiting to ask her since he first saw her. He was going to ask Camila to marry him.
He's had the ring for weeks now but never found the right time to do so.
Kj had the room decorated with rose petals, her favourite wine and chocolates around their bedroom. He told Lili and Cole, but nobody else knew.
Kj heard something drop and left the bathroom to find his girlfriend starring at his phone on the floor.
"Hey did you drop somet-" his voice wondered off when he took in her appearance.Tears blurring her vision and her hands shaking.
"Hey Cam, Baby what's wrong?"
"Y-you, are you c-cheating on me?" her voice was weak and her tears were threatening to spill any second.
He was caught off guard by her question, of course not what made her think like this.
"Of course not, why would you think that?"
"You've been acting quiet and d-distant, I s-saw you're text with Lili, she said you're h-hiding something. I- I thought you loved me Kj, you said a-always and forever." Kj took a few large steps across the room and took his crying girl into his arms.
He cupped her cheeks in his hands and looked straight into her eyes.
"Camila, baby please listen to me.
I've been acting distant because I was planning to ask you something tonight , only Lili knew and she wanted me to tell you. I had tonight all planned for, I love you with everything I have, I would never cheat on you, I swear."
She finally stopped crying and Kj tugged her into their room. She gasped and started crying again when she took in the sight. The room had candles and rose petals all over spelling out 'Marry Me'.
She turned around to look at Kj when her breathe hitched at the sight of him on his knees with the ring in his hands.
"I was going to do this tonight, and I've been trying to do it for the last few weeks. I've been a nervous wreck baby, I love you Camila, I've never felt love like ours before. And I never want to lose it, me and you forever and always baby."
She couldn't speak tears tricked down her cheeks and she just nodded "y-yes" she choked out. Kj placed the ring on her finger the biggest grin spreading across his face.
"You're my fiancée now" she whispered in his ear unbuttoning his flannel.
"Let's see how it sounds in bed, when we're f-" she cut him off by kissing him.
The young newly engaged couple spent the night tangled in the sheets, panting and glowing.
