It was finally the day, August 23rd, move in day at NYU. Camila has always dreamed of coming here and when she received her acceptance letter, she couldn't believe it. All her dreams were coming true, well all except her Prince Charming.

Kj was attending NYU for his second year this semester, he was joined the frat house, with his buddies. Kj wasn't here to get an education, his parents basically forced him into this university.
Kj only agreed because of the parties, girls and it was in New York City. It's the city that never sleeps, the big apple who wouldn't want to live here?

Camila managed to get her boxes and bags to her dorm without dropping anything. She opened the door to find her roommate setting up her side of the small dormitory. The redhead squealed and ran over to Cami giving her a hug. It was Madeline's second year here as well. She was known around the campus, she was also a total bitch, if you got on her wrong side. The girls introduced themselves, and hit it off from there, they knew they would be best friends form that point on.

After they unpacked, talked and found some pop tarts in a drawer they were all done setting up their dorm. Neither of the girls had a class for a few days, which they were happy about.
"There's a huge banger tomorrow at the frat house, we're totally going!" Madeline announced.
"What's a banger?" Cami asked confused
"It's a just another word for huge party, there's no room up for discussion, you're coming with moi." Cami only smiled and agreed knowing there was no way out.

Morning rolled around quickly, it was around eleven when the girls got up.
Cami got ready fairly quick, skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt. While Madeline took her time, getting dressed in a mini skirt.
They decided to go out for breakfast since they had no food at their place.

When they arrived to the small cafe, it wasn't overly busy but many students filled the tables. Cami went to order while Madeline got the table. The line was long but not as bad as at rush hour, the barista was very attractive. He had red hair, an adorable accent and a mouth watering body. It was Camila's turn next in line,
"Hi, I'll get a grande latte and a vanilla frappe, oh and two chocolate cookies please." She said meeting his big brown eyes. Kj has never seen this girl before, he would have remembered her she must have been a freshman.

"Can I grab your name for the order"
"Camila" she smiled softly back at him.
"You're a freshman I'm assuming?" He asked, she nodded "that obvious" she laughed. He wrote her name down on the cup, "not obvious, I just know I would have remembered you're pretty face. Have a good day Camila, hope to see you around soon." He said the girl walking off picking up her order.

She found Madeline sitting near the window, they ate their cookies. Gossiping and joking around before taking their time walking back to campus. They stopped at a few stores and picked up some groceries. It was around 6pm when they started getting ready for the party.
Madeline convinced Cami to wear a short dark blue dress, it ended mid thigh. Definitely not something Camila would have worn on her own, she left her hair straight and wore some plain Summer sandals.

When they arrived to the party it was around nine, red solo cups already littered the yard. Half naked girls and guys dancing and kissing every where. The smell of pot and sweat filled the air. The girls made their way to the kitchen, where some jocks offered them drinks. They met a few more girls, and talked about classes and boys.

Kj finished his shift around eight, he had to lock the cafe up tonight. He got home and the party was just starting, he changed before coming back downstairs.
His buddies greeted him, they handed him a beer, and chatted for a while. Before the raven haired beauty caught his eye. He watched her from a far, the way she smiled and small crinkles appeared by her eyes. Or when she was nervous she would just play with her hair or look around the room. Kj watched as Charles went up to the girl and flirted with her, Kj hated the guy, and now he really did.

"Why don't I give you a special tour of the place babe, I'll show you my room." Charles said smiling at the pretty girl,
Kj stepped in at the perfect moment.
"Hey mate, you're girlfriend is lookin for ya, saw her over there says it's important." Charles knew Kj was lying but he rolled his eyes walking away.

"And we meet again" Kj said laughing,
"So we do, twice in a day what are the odds." She said finishing her drink off,
"Let me guess you're friend ditched you for some guy." Kj asked, she nodded
"Yep, who knows where she went." She replied, "I'll take you home, if you don't mind the walk?" he suggested.

"How do I know you're not some rapist or serial killer?" She joked, Kj put his hand over his heart "I'm wounded you would think that, but if I was I would be taking up upstairs right now." He said seductively in her ear. Her faced flushed, before agreeing to walk home with him.

"I appreciate you walking me back to my dorm, but you really don't have too." She said for the second time,
"I'd feel pretty shitty, if you were kidnaped plus I'd rather spend the night with a pretty girl then a room full of drunk ones." He admitted, her face heated but luckily it was dark enough so he wouldn't see.

The young girl and boy made small talk for the rest of the walk, it was only about forty minutes from each others dorms.
Once they arrived to her dorm, they stopped outside the door.
"Well this is me, uhh thanks for walking me again. I enjoyed you're company."
"Well thanks for letting me skip the party, between you and me... I hate them" she laughed at his confession.
"But really I enjoyed tonight, I'd love to take you out this time not at a party."
"I'd love that Kj, really" she said placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Good night Cami" he said taking one last look at the raven haired princess before he slipped into her room. That night Kj not Camila couldn't stop the smile that appeared on their faces, they both couldn't wait for their next date.
