Camila's POV
After dragging my self out of bed to get some aspirin for my killer hangover, Lili and Cole made a group chat and they decided to have some sort brunch thing. Meaning he'll be there, Kj is coming over. I head back into my room and lay down, after a few minutes, I go for a warm shower then make my way to my closet. I know Kj is coming over but I don't want to look like I dressed up for him.
I throw on a pair of dark denim jeans and a burgundy striped long sleeve, then just brushed my hair. I still don't know how I feel towards Kj, last night we made out and it was amazing. I just hope he doesn't pretend like it never happened. I definitely have feelings towards him, we've known each other for almost three months now. I come out of my room to find Cole setting the kitchen table.
"This is a rare sight" I say laughing taking a seat
"Don't get use to it" he says smirking.
"Where's Lilz" I ask
"She went to go get your guys favourite doughnuts, apparently they don't deliver. She was determined to have them for today. She should be back soon"
"She's right, best doughnuts ever" I say.
"Why do you need her, anything I can do?" He asks
"No, just needed her advice on something."
"Does this have to do with what you and Kj were doing last night and where your lips were"
"He told you?" I say surprised.
"He didn't have to, Cam I'm not an idiot to realize when two people have feelings for each other."
"Was it that obvious..."
"I'm back with doughnuts!" Lili days interrupting us.
We finish setting some food up and there's a knock at the door. "I'll get it" Cole says answering it.
All I hear is Kj's laugh, my hands start to feel clammy. Minutes later Ashleigh, Madeline, Charles and Kevin come in all bringing some sort of food.
"The gangs all here, time to eat." Lili says gesturing everyone to the table, it was buffet style.
Not going to lie, I can't really eat when I'm hungover.
I look down at my plate, a doughnut and some fries is all I have, looking at it makes me sick. But looking up makes me even more. Ashleigh is sitting next to me, then Kj next to her. The two are whispering and being kinda flirty.
"Has anyone tried these doughnuts! You're right Lili they're amazing!" Ashleigh says.
"What kind did you get Ash?" Kj asks, I sit quietly on my phone, I could feel Lili starring at me wondering why I'm not talking to anyone.
"Try it and guess the flavour" she says holding it to his mouth, Kj takes a bite.
"Mint chocolate" he says.
text message from Lilz.
Lilz:I'm about to whip the mint chocolate doughnut at her head, since when did they become friends?
Me: no idea
Lilz: Cam, talk to him!
I turn my phone off and stare across the table at Lili, she raises her eye brow at me, I roll my eyes.
"So Kj What time did Charles and you end up getting home last Night?" Lili asks.
"Uh around 1am I do recall" he responds.
"Cami what time did we get home?" She asks, I really didn't feel like talking. I don't even feel good, the fries felt like they wanted to come back up. My heart started to pound, and my hands began to feel clammy against my bouncing knee.
"Excuse me" I say leaving the table throwing my napkin on my plate. I walk fast to my bathroom shutting the door, I throw up into the toilet.
I feel awful, I lean my back against the wall sitting down on the floor. My head in my knees, I heard some knocking on the door, I assume it was Lili checking in on me.
"I'm fine" I say, the door opens and it was him... Kj came in shutting the door behind him.
"Lili was busy, I thought I would see how you are" he says,sitting across from me on the floor.
"I'm fine like I said, you don't need to sit here. I'm sure Ashleigh is missing you" I say leaning my head against the wall.
"I wanted to come see you"
"I don't know why you would care" I say
"Cami"
"No, yesterday we kissed.It wasn't just some random
party make out it was us. I was excited to see you today. Then you come in and flirt with Ashleigh, why? Did I do something." I ask, his eyes shoot up locking in with mine.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong. I did, I asked Charles for advice, what I should say to you. He told me to play hard to get, flirt with others. I don't know why I even listened to him, I'm so sorry Camila."
"Here's a tip never take advice from him again!" I say standing up slowly.
"So about last night, we should talk about the kiss"
"Kiss? We made out for like ten minutes." I say
"Do you regret it?"Kj asks
"Not one minute of it" I say.
"I want you Cami, you're my favourite person to be around. When I hear your name I get butterflies, when I see you my heart stops. You're the most beautiful girl I've seen in the world." He says, making me blush.
"Kj, don't get all mushy on me. I want you too, but I don't want to rush into things. Let's take it slow, we haven't even had a first official date." I say smiling
"I have something in mind for that. Are you going back into the kitchen" he asks standing up, then helping me up.
"No, I think I'm just gonna lay down, I don't even want to think about food." I slowly walk to my bed, and get under the covers I take another aspirin for my pounding headache. Kj takes a seat at the end of my bed, he places his hand on my leg.
"I'll check in on you in a bit" he says patting my leg, leaving my room. I close my eyes I want to scream about what just happened. Kj just admitted he has feelings for me, I've been crazy about him ever since I laid eyes on him. I just hope we don't ruin our friendship over this and I hope it's not just some fling that will end soon.
My eyes start to close and I fall asleep.
