--- "Everything is okay. He didn't mean it." ---

--- "Are you sure?" ---

"Ladies and gentlemen, please turn all electronics off and make sure you're seat belts are on. Take-off is in ten, nine, eight, seven, five, four, three, two, one." the pilot says through the overheads of the plane. The plane rises from the ground slowly as I plug in my headphones, turning on my alternative/kpop playlist. Slowly lulling myself into sleep.

"Eiko, wake up." my mother whispers, shaking me lightly. I yawn and pop my ears before stretching, standing up. I grab my backpack and my mom hands me my suitcase. "Thanks" I yawn walking off the plane with her, into the airport. "Wow" I breathe out, I had forgotten how bright Busan was. "Lets go E!" My mom chirped, pulling me out of the building and into a cab. My mom told the driver the address and he started to drive. "All of our stuff is going to be there at 3. We'll get there at two and start getting used to it." mom says. "Ok" I respond. Letting the rest of the car ride lay silent, light sounds of people speaking, cars going at above the speed limit, and other car horns beeping at them outside the thin car windows. I watched almost every single person walking on the street, just because I could. I looked at all of the houses except for a few, admiring the colors and lush flowers in their front gardens.

The car slowed and came to a complete stop in front of a limestone building with a small wooden awning before the door. Steps on the side, leading to what I'd presumed to be the house. "Here you are." the driver says. "Gomabseubnida" (thank you) my mother and I say in unison. We grabbed our things out of the trunk and slammed it shut. The cab sped off and we were left looking at the streets of Seoul. My mother and I walked up the stairs into the home-like part of the building. When I went through the door, I saw a beautiful house. A small closet sat right behind where the door hung, a wall with several small pictures hanging from nails. A door to, when I walked in, a bedroom, two big windows on the opposite wall, a walk in closet to the left, and a white, wooden, bed frame. For what looks like a king sized bed. A black dresser is sat neatly in the corner, under the left window, against the light grayish-blue walls.I look at the rest of the house and it is equally as stunning. The kitchen was set with counters, a fridge, a stove and oven, a microwave, sink, and extra cupboards. The walls, a light lime-ish and yellow.

--- "I'll help you. We're in this together." ---

--- "Thank you" ---
