This episode is wonderful yet ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING. It dealt with the affects of drug abuse yeah, but it also touched on Robin's naturally obsessive trait, which the drug only enhanced.
The fact that Robin got so banged up from something that wasn't even real was TERRIFYING. That drug was able to literally make him bruise and feel pain from nothing.
Imagine if a drug like that actually existed?! It would cause so much damage to society or just wreak a person's life like it did to Robin's. Actually there probably is a low-key drug like that somewhere.
Just the thought makes me shiver.
