"Where are we going exactly?" I asked, turning to him. He just smiled and didn't reply. We sat in a comfortable silence for a while, the only sounds being the radio and him tapping on the steering wheel.

"Do you even know where we are?" I taunted.

"Of course." He answered. I licked my lips.

"You know I'm surprised you came with me considering what your little friend says about me." He laughed.

"Well are they true?" I asked, putting my feet up on the seat and resting my head on my knees.

"I don't know, what does she say exactly?" He asked.

"That you were kicked out of your old school, and how you are all about drugs and sex." I explained, he let out a small laugh and shook his head.

"No," he replied and paused for a moment, "I wasn't kicked out of my old school." He turned his head to me and laughed.

"Oh shut up." I smacked him.

"So you've never done that stuff?" I asked.

"I have, but I'm not all about it." He explained.

"Most guys are."

"Well I'm not like most guys." He replied, watching the road. I let out a soft laugh.

"So why'd you come to our school?" I questioned. He looked at me and shrugged.

"Tell me." I retorted.

"Later." He sighed. Just then he pulled into a small parking lot of an abandoned beach. He parked the car and got out, I did the same. He opened his trunk and sat down on the edge.

"How'd you find this place?" I asked, standing in front of him.

"My dad used to take me here when I was little." He smiled, looking down.

"We would walk along those rocks up there and throw pebbles into the water." He continued, pointing to a cliff. I sat down next to him.

"That's sweet." I smiled at him.

"Don't tell anyone or it'll ruin my 'rep'." He joked. I smiled, looking at the water. It was a cloudy and foggy day, the waves were crashing heavily.

"You know I've never skipped school?" I admitted.

"Would have never guessed." He raised his eyebrows.

"I've also never drank, had sex, done drugs." I listed.

"You're missing out." He replied, jokingly.

"Am I?" I said, flirtatiously. Michael looked over to me and licked his lips, looking at mine. All of the sudden thunder crashed loudly, and it started to pour rain.

"Shit." Michael said, shuffling back and putting his feet up and out of the rain.

"Aren't you cold?" Michael asked, concerned.

"Yes." I laughed. He took off his flannel and handed it to me, he was just wearing a grey t-shirt now.

"Really?" I smiled. He nodded.

"Thank you."

"So, tell me more about your dad. He seems nice." I said, putting the flannel on. He looked at me for a moment, shaking his head.

"Am I wrong?" I questioned, moving closer to him.

"It's a long story." He argued.

"Michael." I said and he sighed, looking at me and smiling a bit.

"I've never told anyone."

"It's okay." I said, grabbing his hand softly. He sighed.

"Well, when I was younger my dad was always there, he would take me to places like this, but one day he just snapped. He turned to alcohol and drugs, it tore our family apart. He would hit us when he was drunk." He spoke softly.

"And one day, I guess he hit my mom a little too hard, and she just couldn't handle it anymore. She took her own life." He continued letting out a shaky breath. I sat there in shock.

"I had to grow up with that but when I was 15 I had had enough, and ran away to my aunts house." He looked up at me.

"The day I turned 18 I enrolled myself in your school, I wasn't gonna let him take away my future like he took my Mom's." He swallowed hard.

"I haven't really let anyone in since then, everyone always leaves me. I've always been alone."

"Sorry." He apologized. I climbed into his lap.

"Michael, I'll never leave you." I kissed him softly, cupping his cheek. We pulled away from the kiss and I rested my head on his chest, he rubbed my back.

"Thank you."
