"Fuck!" I exclaimed as the explosion echoed through out the Outside.

"I thought we agreed on 'no blowing up shit' today," I said while glaring at the smiling moron who ran across the roof beside me.

"We did but I thought this would make it more interesting," Asher explained still smiling.

"What will make this more interesting is when I shove you off this roof," I shot back as I leapt onto another roof and kept on running.

"Aww, Raven, sweetie, you love me and you wou- Ow, fuck!" Asher yelped as I delivered a swift, sharp kick to his shin. "That hurt you arse."

"Dammit you're still on the roof," I stage whispered pretending to be disappointed. "And also I'm gay. Did you forget?"

"Hey! No I didn't forget but also that was rude and besides it's fine I blew up stuff cause we aren't dead," Asher pointed out.

"Yet. You see you just alerted all ten major gangs in the Outside of where we are and do I need to remind you all ten gangs want us DEAD!" I yelled as I kept on running. Looking behind me I counted thirteen people. "There are thirteen people running behind us, one from each gang and then some, this is why we agreed on the 'no blowing shit up' rule today because if you didn't blow that building up we wouldn't be in this situation!"

I looked around the rooftop when Asher didn't reply.

"Asher?" I called out.

"Here! So ,uh, you know how you said there were thirteen people running after us well, um, apparently there are fourteen," Asher said. I whipped around and saw on the rooftop behind the one I was on was a burly guy who was holding Asher. Wait! It gets better the guy was holding a gun to Asher's head. I swore. This is the exact reason why we agreed on the 'no blowing shit up' rule, I thought as I started to walk towards the other roof.

"Don't move or I'll blow his brains to bits," the guy threatened. I sighed and refrained from rolling my eyes because really could you be any more stereotypical? Whatever, I thought as I threw my hands in the air in a 'I surrender' pose.

"Now come over to this roof but keep your hands up," the guy commanded. I began to walk slowly to the ledge of the roof and took a quick jump over to the other roof and walked forward towards Asher. I caught Asher's eyes and tilted my head towards his bag full of explosives. Asher nodded and mouthed 'distract the asshole'. I have to give it to him, even though he doesn't always follow orders he is really good at getting subtle signals but then again it helps when someone has a gun pointed at your head.

"So, which gang are you from or are you one of the random people we somehow pissed off?" I inquired buying time as Asher tried to get his hand into his bag at his side without alerting the guy and also because we piss off a lot of people it's fun to hear their reasons as to why they hate us. "Also why do you guys always say the same thing 'don't move or I'll blow his head off. Now come forward slowly etc. etc.'"

"Listen girly I don't know what game you're playing at but I ain't gonna get so mad that I drop him and run at yah if that's what you're thinking, he snarled tightening his grip on Asher. Asher glared at me because his breathing just got a bit harder and I really don't care cause he was the one that got us into this mess in the first place but he was ready and I nodded.

"Yo stupid she isn't trying to get you mad at her she was providing a distraction," Asher said as he dropped his bomb right next to the guy.

"Good try but I ain't letting you go,"the guy said even though he was watching the bomb nervously.

"Oh yeah? How about now?" I said as I ran towards him and kicked him in the face. The guy yelped and let go of Asher.

"Hurry up and run! Goddammit!" I screamed at Asher as I took off running. Asher followed close behind. We had just made it to the other rooftop when the bomb exploded.

"What happened to 'not blowing shit up' rule?" Asher asked teasingly.

"That rule and all other rules get thrown away when a team member's life is on the line," I said.

"Aww, Raven, you do care," Asher said sickeningly sweet. "Aren't you glad you brought me along? Your best demolition expert."

"Don't make me regret saving you. Now come on we got rid of one of them but there still are thirteen more," I said as I took off running again.
