War with Drago ended long time ago and life on Berk was peaceful. Hiccup was the new chief of Berk and his best friend, Toothless the night fury, alpha of the dragons! Berk changed, but for better for both humans and dragons, but Maybe not for the Chief and Alpha... Toothless and Hiccup werent as close as they used to be. Hiccup had to take care of the island when toothless had his own buisness to do with other dragons. That doesnt mean of course that they werent spending time together.
Hiccup returned home tired After the whole day and the black dragon crawled in his room lazily through the window
"How's it going bud? As I see Im not the only tired one.." Hiccup said with a chuckle as he looked at his dragon. Toothless looked up at him with his big eyes and got a groan in response
"Oh, I know, I know-
Hey! Wanna go fly? Like the old times!" The young viking said as the dragon raised his ears and smiled, showing his teethless gums in adorable way. They both seemed like they just had an adrenaline shot After Such tiring day.
They flew out as fast as they could, just to see how the sun was setting. They flew around the island, Flying above the green forest as the cool wind was blowing
"Now this.. This is something we needed, right bud?" Hiccup asked as the dragon purred in response but the purring slowly turned into a growl. That caught Hiccup's attention "Whats wrong?" He asked but the Growling got even louder. He letted his dragon take the lead and show him What was toothless so concerned about. The dragon landed. This was the same spot where they first męt and where Hiccup kept the dragon a secret. He got off the dragon and looked around. Toothless wandered off. Hiccup just followed without a word. Toothless started to walk in circles while sniffing one spot on the ground. It was a crack, which was glowing a light Blue colour. The glow reminded Hiccup of flightmares but it wasnt anything connected with them
"We should tell the rest, lets go." Hiccup said in serious voice. He got closer to toothless and when he wanted to mount him he got pushed away and roared at, by toothless in his alpha form. There was one thing changed tho... his eyes. Toothless' eyes werent green but turned blue. The night fury looked at the crack and shot it with his plasma blast, revealing What was the source of the glow. These were small flowers, that reminded Hiccup of Blue oleanders which were poisonous to reptiles. Flowers themselves werent glowing, but their pollen which was floating around them. Toothless started to walk to them like hypnotised.
"Toothless No!"
Hiccup yelled as he pushed the dragon away.
Toothless hissed and was about to shot his owner but instead, sneezed as his eyes and himself turned normal. The dragon went to his human like he was drunk and rubbed his head against him. Hiccup sighed in relief "Good to have you back.. we would warm the others" He said as they flew off. They both made two mistakes. They left the flowers open with their pollen spreading, getting inhaled by other animals, plants and dragons. The second mistake... toothless inhaled the pollen too.
