When it was lunch time I was sitting with my new friends but then my teacher, Ms.Summer pulled me aside and told me my mom was on the phone and she wanted to take to me about something. Usually Ms.Summer is always positive but this time she looked concerned. I got hold on the phone and my mom was indeed in the other line of the phone.
"Hey mom, what's up?" I said.
"Hi honey, me and your father have something to tell you really important when you come home okay but please make this day a great one okay" My mom said concerned. She sounded how Ms.Summer looked.
"Okay mom is there a problem that I have to make this day great?" I said back.
"Nothing we will talk about this when your home okay just tell your teacher Ms.Summer thank you for letting me talk to you and get back to lunch okay see you later honey I have to go" Mom said.
"Okay sure thing got to go" I said. I hanged up the phone.
"Ms.Summer I will go back to lunch but my mom wanted me to tell you that thank you for letting me talk to her" I told her.
"No problem sweetheart go back and eat your lunch" She said to me. I walked over back to the lunch table but when I got there the bell rang, it was time for English. When school was over I walked home myself which my house was only like a 15 min walk from the school to my house so I really didn't have a problem about it.
"Mom I'm home!" I screamed. My parents walked down the stairs and told me to have a seat on the couch.
"So I told you we have important news to tell you so the news is we will be moving to New York" Mom said nervously.
"Oh that's great mom, wait what are you talking about we're moving your kidding right" I laughed nervously.
"Your Mom's not kidding we found a new place at New York and me and your Mom found some really great jobs there" Dad said.
"Wait what about Kayla and my friends here" I said concerned.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart I know you are finally fitting in but this will be a new opportunity to start a new life there at New York, Kayla's mom told me they will be moving next doors to us in New York too so you won't be alone when you enter school" Mom said.
"I'm sorry you will have to excuse me I have to think about this okay" I said back. I walked away from my parents and went upstairs to my room and slammed the door.
