It's 7:15 already geez the first day of school and I wake up late ugh really. I get up and walk up to the bathroom and take a shower. After, that I curled my hair and ate breakfast. My dad drove me to school as well as Kayla because we really didn't know where it was. When we arrived we came a bit earlier so we are able to look around and see where our classes are. We were very confused I bumped into a guy and I fell and my books fell of course but I picked up my books the guy helped me pick it up.
"Thank you..." I waited for him to tell me his name.
"Jorden and you are?" He said back.
"Umm I'm Melody" I said.
"Well we have to go to find our classes so bye" Kayla grabbed my hand and blasted off, before we were gone I waved back to say bye.
"What was that about?" Kayla told me.
"What was what?" I said.
"The way you looked at him" She said back.
"What the heck are you talking about?! Jorden was just helping pick up my books because someone pushed me cause someone was frustrated" I said.
"Mmhmm yeah right!" She said.
"I mean you were frustrated, you did push me, and he did just help me pick up my books so yeah I'm telling the truth" I said back to her. The first period bell rang I had to go over to history so did Kayla. The bell rang after 45 mins. The 4th period bell rang I had to go to english and Kayla had to go to music. When I got inside the English room I immediately saw Jorden and there was no more seats so I had to sit next to Jorden.
"Hey sorry I forgot your name what was it again?" He said embarrassingly.
"Melody, and its fine we only met once so it's fine" I said back. The teacher kept talking about this new 7th grade project.
"Okay students I would like you guys to pick partners and don't even think about asking me if there can be more than 2 people in your group because I will take off points" The teacher said. People started choosing partners and I really had no one to partner up. Jorden was going to partner up with one of his friends but he saw me and told one of friend to partner up with his other friend. He walked up to me and asked if I wanted to be his partner.
"Umm I thought you were going to partner up with your friend over there" I said.
"Umm I know but I saw you alone so I decided to ask so do you want to be partners?" He said to me.
"Umm sure I guess but I swear you better do some work okay" I said firmly. After 3 more hours it was time to go home, me and Kayla walked home together since we were literally neighbors. When we got home we started on homework and after we just hanged out we also decided to have a sleepover at my house for the night.
