I looked up and my eyes were met with-

Sky.

"Sky" I said weakly, a pain rose in my throat and my eyes burned wanting to let out tears. "What are you doing here?" Sky asked hopefully, "I don't even know" I said looking down.

"Wait! Wait a second," I panicked running towards Sky, grabbing her wrist. "No-no! What happened to your bracelet!?" I let out confused.

"Chad took it" Sky took a minute to respond, "but-but you said you still had it on, I texted you!" I replied quickly. "No, I haven't had my phone" Sky said confused, "the bracelet got delivered to me" I said quietly looking Sky in the eyes.

"Anna?" Shy asked shyly, "how did you get here?". "I-I-uh-Chad came and got me" I replied quickly, "how did you get here?".

"Umm, this is hard. But, Chad was talking to me and at first, I thought he was really attractive, but then he got me, and now I'm here" Sky said scared. "I would have thought that two- if I haven't seen what he was capable of" I warned.

"You know him?" Sky asked concerned, "long story-short. The guy I was staying with, Chad wants to get rid of him, so I got myself involved" I shook my head.

"Anna he treated to kill me" Sky let out tears running from her eyes. I moved towards her and swung my arms embracing her in a hug. "How long have you been here?" I whispered quietly.

"Since just last night" her tears stopped and she pulled away, "has Chad came down?" I asked. "Yeah" shy started, "he did once but at was on,y to deliver food and he left again".

"How come you don't seem scared?" Sky asked sitting herself against the wall. "I'm just trying to hide it" I let out a breath before continuing, "I don't know what to think. Chad want to kill me but he told me he can't. And I think he's just trying to get me comfortable." I said quickly.

I sat against the wall beside Sky, "do you think we can get out?" Sky asked. I shook my head, "we can only hope... But I went with Chris-the guy I was staying with- again. Maybe he'll do something". I forced a smile.

Sky and I both tensed as a second pair of footsteps walked above us. "Chad! Did it work?" The one males voice said, "not exactly" Chad replied.

"What! How!?" The other voice angrily spoke, "but so far, everything worked out" Chad quieted down. "Good, I'll be back tomorrow". The voice stated and the sound of the front door slamming followed soon after.

"I don't know how we're going to sleep, but we need to" I said quietly.

"I'll try" Sky smiled and laid down. We both stayed silent for hours until sleep took over out minds and we had nothing left to control it.

*morning*

I opened my eyes to find myself leaning against Sky, who was already awake. "You ok?" She asked, I nodded.

I rubbed my eyes and sat myself up properly.

"I wish I knew what time it was" Sky looked around, "oh just a sec" I said quietly reaching into the side of the wast band of my pants.

"12:00" I yawned squinting my eyes at the light from my phone.

"Anna!" Sky yelled, "why didn't you say you had that!?" Sky asked confused,shocking me out of my sleep.

"I-I don't know, I didn't think I had it" replied in a panic. "Well call someone" Sky took a deep breath. I pulled out my hone again and in sync, the creek from the basement door opened.

I quickly put my phone back and move slightly closer to Sky.

Chad soon walked into the room and stood in front of us. "I hope you slept well" Chad smirked. Me and Sky both stayed silent.
