Got away but wasnt safe

My mind was set on the trees ahead of me.

My legs carried me to the edge of the words quickly, I stopped for a moment to catch my breath. I looked behind me not seeing anything but the light that lit up the area around the deck. I turned my head back I front of me to lose my breath in fear again.

"What are you doing?" Brent asked me quickly, and gripped his hands around my arms. "What does it look like" I said in determination and anger, I shoved Brent away from me and without looking back ran into the woods.

I lost breath quickly after running for so long before, I stopped and leaned my back a giants a tree, sliding down until I sat on the ground.

I head distant footsteps approaching the area, "you let her get away!" A voice called out, "she won't last a night" the other voice spat back. My heart raced. What if I don't get out, and I die in here?

I stood myself back up after a bit gaining confidence and balance. I brushed my pants off and jogged through out the woods. I came to no ending after the long run, it had gotten darker and darker, and it became extremely hard to tell what was I front of me.

In the distance I soon spotted a big light, I walked in that direction carefully. I've been ticked before, I won't let it happen again.

I approached it realizing it was a bonfire someone had set up at another clearing in the woods. "Hey!" A guy got up from his chair and approached me welcomingly, another girl sat in another chair. There one another chair but it was empty.

"Hi. I tried to smile back, "what can I help you with? I'm Josh" he asked, "Anna" I started, "I was wonder what would be the best way to get out of here, I'm kinda lost".

"Him, it's going to take you a while to get out, lucky for you, my son can drive, he'd be happy to take you back home" Josh smiled, he placed his hand on my back and began to walk me towards the direction of another building. We rescheduled father paring lot and someone around my age walked over to us.

"Dean, this his Anna, she needs a ride home" Josh motioned, "ok" dean nodded his head and glanced at me. Josh began to walk in the other direction. Dean had jet black hair and green eyes, he was wearing a light jacket and jeans.

"You, don't have to do this, I just need to know which way to go" I offered. "Is not big deal, hop in" Dean answered nodding towards his head towards a tuck behind me.

I hopped in and we started down the road. "So what were you doing nut here?" Dean asked, "my friends thought it would be funny if they ditched me on a walk" I lied.

We stayed in most silence except for when I directed Dean were to go. My hers beat felt faster and faster the closer we came to my house.

We stopped In front of the small building and a smile arose to my face, "this it?" He asked, "yeah"I said cheerfully. I opened the door, "thank you" I said more calmly facing Dean, "anytime" he answered and I stepped out, I waited for him to pull a way and jogged up my driveway.

I oped the front door and stepped inside, my dad walked into the room. "Anna" he said breathlessly, he walked over and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Where were you?" He asked concerned, "at a friends, can we talk about this tomorrow? I need sleep" I brushed off the topic. My dad nodded and I Began up the stairs, he watched me carefully seeming confused. I fell asleep right away glad to be home and in my own bed again.

I hurried down stair after getting dressed and took advantage of the food in the house. After breakfast me dad came into the house from shopping.
