Cloves - Don't Forget About Me

"If I fall, can you pull me up?
Is it true, your watching out
And when I'm tired, do you lay down with me?
In my head so I can sleep without you?"

REBEKAH DIDN'T COME AFTER HOLDEN AT ALL, WHICH REALLY DIDN'T SURPRISE THE SALVATORE. He was in his room, looking through the window to see Damon coming inside from outside.

A few seconds later Damon was already in Holden's room. "Watching out for blondie Nr. 2?" he teased so Holden turned to look at his older brother.

"I wish," Holden shook his head so Damon raised his eyebrows up before motioning for Holden to follow him.

The two walked out and reached Stefan's room to see him sitting by his desk, a pen in one hand. Stefan had his eyes closed so Holden glanced at Damon. "Dear diary, a chipmunk asked me my name today," Damon spoke so Stefan opened his eyes to see his brothers. "I told him it was Joe. That lie will haunt me forever."

Holden rolled his eyes before smirking as he watched Stefan stand up and put his diary back on the shelf. "What do you two want?" he asked looking at Holden.

"Don't look at me. I have no idea what is going on," Holden commented before sitting down on Stefan's couch and glancing at Damon.

"I was hoping we could all hang. You know a little brother bonding," Damon suggested with a curious tone whether they would agree. "I know we don't actually 'hang out'. We team up, we join forces, we activate our wonder triplet powers."

Damon showed them his ring, in reference to the wonder triplet comment. He then walked over to the bookshelf and started looking through it. Holden and Stefan looked at each other in confusion. "What are you doing?" Stefan asked him.

"Digging up clues. Most of the Originals are gone, but now we have a whodunnit in town," he mused as the younger ones looked at him in confusion. "Hey, Stef, do you remember when we came back for Zachariah's funeral?"

Zachariah was their nephew and Holden had never seen him because in that time he was busy dealing with problems of his own. Also, he didn't want to see Stefan and Damon. "Vaguely. Why?" Stefan asked before shooting a discrete glance towards Holden.

"If memory serves, he wasn't the first Founder's Council member killed that year or even that month," Damon explained as Holden knew about the killings somewhere in 1912.
