Chapter 5: Mate

Yvalle POV

   I growl at the sound of alarm clock. I quickly shut off my alarm. I start to move my body. I feel sore all over my body. For four day, I in heat and it hurt like hell. I crave for my mate and my body temperature really high that it can melt all the ice in the bath tub. When I think back, I feel really stupid. I just craving for my mate which I only meet for 5 minutes and heck I even don’t know his name. I still in bed when I heard footstep and Yvonne come to my room. She look tired. I assume that she really worried about me.

 She quickly come to my bed and sit at the edge of my bed. “Hey,how’s you feeling?” she ask.

Her hand move to my hair and she patted me. Suddenly, I feel like crying.

 “I wish mom here, she will know what to do.”My body was quickly wrap in her body.

Yvonne hold me like a baby and I just cry in her arm. “Me too, but she not here so we have to be strong to cope with this and I know that I can’t be compare to mom but hey I’m here and same goes with others.”

Yvonne hold my tight and I feel relaxed when I take her scent. I sit in her arm and just sob. I start to wonder what will happen if our castle are not attack. I will not be in Yvonne arm but my mom arms and dad will bring me his delicious hot chocolate because he know that I like to drink that when I’m upset and then all my sisters will gather around and we will keep talking until I feel better. How I miss those day.

When it feel like ages, I stop crying. Yvonne quickly kiss my forehead and pat my head. I smile and watch her walk out from my room. All of us sisters, know that sometime just be there for each other is enough even though we were in silence but by holding each other we give each other strength to move on.

“Wake up, Yvalle and move on.. there are no use crying over past. What over is over and try to focus on the future.” I pat both if my cheek with my hand and said to my self.

I move from my bed and took off my clothes and threw it in the basket near my bathroom. I walked to the bathroom and I got in the shower. The hot water relaxed my body right away making my mind awake. I soaped my body with my favorite vanilla body wash and then washed my hair. The hot water felt so good I didn’t even want to get out. I sighed in turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. I wrapped a towel around myself and went to my room to look for something to wear.

I could hear Vance in the kitchen downstairs. I can hear the sound of pan that indicate that he cooking breakfast. I laugh when I start to remember the first time he start to cook. Two day after our castle was attack, we settle down in cabin far from our castle. Then, one morning all of us was awake by the smell something burn and all of us run towards those smell and walk towards the kitchen. When all of us reach the kitchen, we can’t see anything because the kitchen was full by black smoke. Yvanne quickly open the window and after the smoke clear we saw that Yvonne was standing near the burn microwave. She was wearing an apron. We ask what happen and she said that she try to make garlic bread as breakfast but suddenly the microwave in fire. When we check the microwave, we saw that she put the bread in microwave with the 800⁰ Celsius and bake it for 20 minutes. All of us, laugh hard that day and from that day Vance tell us that all of us were forbidden to enter the kitchen and left all the cooking matter to him.

Sometimes, I feel really wired watching him in the kitchen. Who ever thought that the best fighter in the Panthera Kingdom will wearing apron and cooking breakfast for five teenage girl. Vance is one of the best fighter in our kingdom and one of my father trusty. He really trust Vance and they know each other  since childhood and practically best friend with each other. Vance use to be my father right man and his bodyguard but when my mother marry my father Vance ask his permission to left so that he can see the world. My father give him permission and he took off and start to travel all over the world. When, Vance were away my father never fill his position with anyone else because he said that no one is better than him. Three year before the attack, Vance come back from his travel and back to his position beside my father. My father left responsibilities to train five of us in his shoulder. That, when we start to realize that all father say is true about him. His ability to fight is the best  and Yvette quickly in love him.
