We all decided to eat somewhere on Hollywood Boulevard, but somewhere casual. I'm pretty sure we will end up going somewhere like Buffalo Wild Wings or something of the sorts.

Carly parked the car along the road and we got out, intending on walking around for a little bit until we were hungry. It was already quite dark outside so drunks were already roaming the streets. A couple people approached us but we didn't really have any huge problems until I stopped to tie my shoe.

I tied my shoe as quickly as I could since I told the others not to wait up and I'll just catch up with them in a second. When I stand up, there was a guy standing in front of me, probably in his late twenties with a beer in his hand. He was obviously drunk; he could hardly stand straight and his words were slurred when he spoke.

"Hey, girly," he slurs with a cocky half smile.

"Um, hi," I say politely and send him a fake smile. I try to walk around him but he stands in my way, not letting me pass.

"How about you and I go back to my place?" he winks. "I can show you a real good time," he tries to seduce me but fails.

"I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend," I lie and try again to push past him.

Anger flashes in his eyes. He apparently doesn't take rejection very lightly.

"I don't see him," he snaps, eyes narrowing and looking around the street as if to prove his point.

"I hope you're not talking to my girlfriend like that," a voice taunts from behind me. I could tell it was Heath and I let out a sigh of relief.

He comes over and wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me into him. My heart was racing with nerves and anxiousness. I didn't want anyone to get hurt if this guy were to resort to violence.

"You're her boyfriend," he snarls with disbelief and what sounded like disgust. "Somehow I don't believe it."

"He is!" I exclaim quickly, trying to convince him.

"Prove it," he challenges, rolling his eyes. He puts his free hand on his hip and takes a sip of his beer.

I look up at Heath and he down at me. Not having much of a choice, I stand on my toes and our lips met for a brief amount of time. My eyes flutter closed and his hand presses on my lower back, holding me steady.

The kiss itself had little meaning, I knew it, and I knew Heath knew it. He couldn't let his best friend's little sister get hurt, after all. But I couldn't help but notice how my heart paused for a second when our lips locked. I knew that my racing heart was from my nerves, however, I wondered that if maybe it was caused from something else. I was sure I didn't like Heath like that, I had just met him. But it was sure one hell of a fake kiss.

When we pulled apart the man scoffed, upset that he was "wrong." Without a single word he let out a loud, exasperated sigh and stomped off to probably harass another innocent girl.

I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and turn to Heath.

"Thank you so much. I probably would've been murdered if it weren't for you," I awkwardly laugh at my attempt to lighten the mood.

"Of course!" He says with a smile. "Now let's go catch up with Erin and Carly before they start to think we've been murdered."

"Wait, Heath!" A girl about my age calls from across the sidewalk. "Can I get a picture with you?"

Heath nods and takes the photo with her, talking for a minute or two before dismissing himself by saying he has to go catch up with out friends

Like I predicted we went to Buffalo Wild Wings, which was good for Carly, Erin and I but sucked for Heath, a pescatarian. He ended up just getting a salad without meat while we all got chicken wings. They all got beers, as well, but since I'm still underage, I just snuck a couple sips of Heath's.

I went to the bathroom about an hour after we got there and when I came out I saw Heath was talking to a blonde girl. She looked like she was flirting with him, but I couldn't really tell. Carly and Erin were awkwardly eating their food, unsure of what to do. As I got closer, I noticed she looked extremely familiar. It was almost like I've seen her before.

She saw me before I got to the table and when she did, her face lit up with shock.

"Kheagan? Is that you?" I could recognize that voice without a moments' hesitation.

"Monica!" We ran to each other and embraced, both in disbelief. After she moved away, I assumed that I wouldn't see her again, but here she is, still looking as stunning as ever.

"I haven't seen you in ages," I laugh, pulling out of her embrace. "What happened?"

She nods her head in agreement, a huge grin plastered on her seemingly flawless face. "I know! We moved so abruptly and I just had such a hard time adjusting to life here with school and everything so I didn't have much time to contact you."

"Well, I'm glad to see you!" I exclaim, hugging her again. I noticed that Heath and the girls were starting to get ready to leave so I begin to say goodbye.

"I have to go now, but we should hang out sometime!" I hand her my phone to which she enters her number into and we say goodbye, going our separate ways.

"Who was that?" Carly asks when we start walking to the car.

"My old friend, Monica, from high school." I say, still surprised to have ran into her. It's no wonder I kept seeing a girl who looked like her all around- it was her.

"She seems nice," Erin says with a small smile.

"Yeah, if she's anything like high school her then she's really sweet," I say.

We get to the car a lot quicker then last time, dodging all the perverted looking drunks this time and driving home.

Carly and Erin drop us off at our house before driving home to their apartment.

"Bye, hunties!" they yell out the window with a laugh. We wave bye to them before walking into the house and into what would soon become a shit storm.

"Kheagan Marie Sire! What the fuck is this picture on Twitter?"
