I racked my brain for any recollection of a Twitter photo he could possibly be talking about. I hardly tweeted and when I release a photo I do it on my Instagram, so I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. And I told him that. He, not believing me, holds up his phone which displayed a photo of me and Heath's little meaningless kiss. My mouth drops in shock and I look to see who tweeted it. The handle seemed to be a fan account and I assumed it was a fan who was walking by when it happened. Either that or the girl Heath took the photo with. Nonetheless, the tweet was there, already getting retweets and essentially going viral. The caption was "Heath has a girlfriend?" and I could already imagine all the nasty things people were probably saying about me.

"Scotty, it's not what it looks like," I begin to explain, worried he would explode again, which he almost did. His eyes were flashing multiple emotions, from protectiveness and anger to betrayal. I could see his knuckles turning white around his phone as a way to try and suppress his anger. Kristen tried to calm him done, placing a hand on his shoulder, but he just shook it off.

"Really? Cause it looks like my baby sister kissing my best friend," he sneers, shoving his phone into the pocket of his shorts.

"Scott, I did it to protect her," Heath explains, almost pleading. Scott's eyebrows furrow with confusion and nods his head slightly as if to give permission for Heath to continue. "Some guy who was shitfaced was hitting on her," he continues. "We lied and said we were dating to get him to fuck off, but he didn't believe us, so we kissed to prove it."

Scott was silent for a couple seconds, seeming to be absorbing everything and before he could say anything, Heath adds one more thing.

"Scott, it was really nothing. It meant nothing to me, I promise." Ouch. That one stung, to be honest. The kiss really did lack meaning, but hearing him say it really struck me a bit. I didn't let myself show my hurt, though. Instead I piped in, agreeing with him to get Scotty off our backs.

"Okay," Scott says after what seems like an eternity. "I believe you."

"Good," I say with a sigh, a bit irritated at Scott's overprotectiveness. He needs to understand that I'm an adult now and he can't treat me like this forever as much as he likes to think he can. Rather than telling him that like I want to, I let it go and walk to my room, locking myself in to get ready for bed. I was exhausted again, so I decide to simply go to bed early so that I can have a productive day the next morning.

That morning I woke up, having the feeling that I would actually get something done for a change. I shower and get changed into black yoga pants and a sports bra with a white Nike windbreaker and white hat, planning to go on a hike or something.

When I leave my room, I see that Zane is awake and talking to Heath in a hushed voice since the others were still asleep in their rooms.

"Hey," I greet, my voice a bit raspy from not talking yet.

"Morning, Kheagan. We were just going to go out to go for coffee and breakfast, wanna come?" Zane offers and I shrug my shoulders and shake my head yes.

"I was going to go for a hike, though, you want to join me afterwards?" I smile big to try and convince them.

After a moment to think Zane nods, "Fine, but only because I need more footage before I post."

I laugh at him and we leave the house, walking to Heath's truck. Heath drives and Zane sits in the middle, leaving me with the passenger seat.

When we pull out of the neighborhood and onto the main road, Zane whips out his camera and starts vlogging.

"Hey guys. We're going to go do Coffee Talk! But today we have a special guest with us, Kheagan!" He points the camera at me and I smile and wave, feeling a bit weird since it was just a camera and not an actual person.

"For those of you who don't know her, she's Scotty's little sister and is living with us now!"

"Yay!" Heath yells with a laugh.

"Anything you want to say?" Zane points the camera at me again and I nod.

"Feel free to follow me on Instagram and Twitter!" I shout out my social media and make Zane promise to keep it in when he shuts off the camera. He agrees, but not before acting as if it would kill him to not edit it out.

We pull into a parking lot with many different stores and restaurants. We park in front of one that's sign reads: K's Donut Emporium. I had never heard of it, but I assumed it was a pretty decent place considering that the guys talk about it religiously.

We walk into the shop and are greeted by a cute little Asian couple (I assume) and the smell of freshly brewed coffee and donuts is delightful. I look around the quaint little shop, admiring it's cuteness and thinking about what I wanted to order.
