The Murder and Escape of Waluigi

Chapter 1 - The Crime and the Market

The accident occurred at 7:32 a.m., and the residents of Mushroom Kingdom were shocked by it. Never before had they seen something quite like it - Luigi, who had occasionally been their hero, had tragically died due to a horrendous car crash that he got into. The fact is, no one knew who was the one who got into a car crash with Luigi. When the officers looked into the broken, red, and shiny car, they discovered illegal alcohol and Justin Bieber's finest moments. Now there was another crime, and it wasn't the alcohol.

Who would actually make a CD of Justin Bieber? A doctor stepped onto the scene and proclaimed loudly, "It is clear to me now! The cause of the crash is this Justin Bieber CD!" The onlookers, there weren't many, all gasped in horror; one chimed in, saying, "That CD has supernatural abilities that make people want to die!" This onlooker just so happened to be Waluigi, who just so happened to be covering up the murder. As long as no one discovered what he did, he would be able to escape the scene unnoticed.

He started slipping through the crowd when Mario stopped him. "Waluigi!" Mario exclaimed. "My brother has been killed! This is terrible news. Stop treating it lightly! When I find the murderer, they will be brought to justice!" Waluigi smiled and made his excuses, quickly hurrying off to the busy market square.

    When he reached the square, he made for the stand selling exotic fruits. He knew that the man who sponsored Luigi's killing would deliver his payment there. He did not know exactly who it was; he had never met them and the sponsor never told him who they were. However, Waluigi didn't care as long as there was money to be made. As he approached the stand, he realized that the sponsor was actually none other than Sonic!

    Waluigi didn't like Sonic. Back in the day, he had been defeated by him multiple times during the "Mario and Sonic Sochi Winter Olympic Games 2014". He also had stolen Waluigi's soup multiple times. Now, Waluigi wanted revenge, but he also needed the money. However, right when Waluigi was accepting his payment, he put a bomb right behind Sonic!

Unfortunately for Waluigi, Sonic soon realized the danger, and using his well-known speed, he moved the bomb out the way and defused it expertly in a matter of seconds. Waluigi was utterly shocked; he decided to make his escape as quickly as possible. He knew he couldn't outrun Sonic, so he tried to outsmart him instead.

"Sonic, there's a Badnik behind you! I tried to kill it!" Waluigi exclaimed. As Sonic turned around, ready to attack, Waluigi grabbed a coconut from the fruit stand and chucked it at Sonic. By the time he looked around, there was a coconut straight in Sonic's face. Now was his chance; Waluigi ran away, not wanting to stick around to find out what damage he had done.

Waluigi dashed through the market stalls, knocking over elderly Toads as he looked for an exit. Sonic's speed meant Waluigi had to find a hiding spot, if he wanted to stay our of trouble. He kept running until he found a nice, hidden barrel a few hundred feet away from the fruit stand that he was just at. Relieved, Waluigi shoved himself inside the barrel and closed the lid, locking himself inside. By the sound of the footsteps, it seemed like Sonic was gone. But under Waluigi was an even worse hedgehog. It was Shadow, lying in wait. Startled, Waluigi tried to get out, but he couldn't open the barrel from the inside.

Suddenly, the barrel started to shake and expand, with some "waah-ing" that could be heard from outside. The barrel burst apart as a giant Waluigi rose over the others. There was a Mega Mushroom in the barrel, and Waluigi had grabbed it! Waluigi yelled, "WAAH!" very, very loudly and stepped on Shadow, killing him instantly. He then proceeded to go on a massacre through the market to kill all of the hedgehogs he came across.

By then, Sonic had recovered and returned to the scene. When Waluigi was about to squash Sonic, his Mega Mushroom ended, causing him to fall back to the ground. Fortunately, Waluigi hadn't killed any more hedgehogs after Shadow, but now, it was Sonic's turn to make the final blow. But just as Sonic was about to strike, Waluigi sprang up, seemingly flying off the ground. He came back down with such intensity that he blew Sonic into the wall of a nearby building. Sonic crashed into the building, landing on a startled Goomba. Waluigi knew that Sonic would probably be in a coma, so he decided to escape from the market when he had the chance, and return home.
