A few minutes of anguish flew by, mortification hit me like a freight train. I need to come up with a plan, I will get him back within a few days. I absolutely loathe the grin I received from the devil and I plan to jank those stupid canines out of his jaw, fuck him.

"What should we do now? We can't enter the realm of hell we're not allowed to if we did we would slowly die from the inside out. Only the creatures that belong there are allowed to be there, there's a rulebook for all this stuff." The motherly voice of Abi brought me back to reality.

"Where would I find these rules?"

"Well, they're called the satanic rules of the earth and the devil possesses the complete list. But we do know eleven of them. one, do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked. Two, do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them. Three, when in another's lair, show him respect or else do not go there. Four, If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy. Five, do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal. Six, do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved. seven, acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained. Eight, Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself. nine, do not harm little children. ten, do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food. Eleven, When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him." Alex spoke in a monotone voice, after probably reciting those thousands of times in his life. They do sound pretty reasonable if you ask me.

"So technically as long as I follow these rules," creating air quotations around the word rules.

"I should be fine." A frown crept across Max's face, I know he won't be too fond of my genius plan once I tell them.

"You're crazy if you think you'll be going to another realm alone." Squinting at me he ran a hand through his messy hair.

"Too bad I'm crazy then huh? so here's my pla-"

"Abigor can save himself," Max mumbled through gritted teeth.

"How can you say that? You haven't seen him like I have, you didn't see the terror in his eyes as the blood drained from his body, you didn't hear the hopelessness in his voice when he told me to leave him there in the snow. You didn't see the strongest man on this earth break right before your eyes, I could practically hear the cracks that stretched across his soul. You didn't feel the heat drain from his body in a vital fluid that painted the snow crimson." Getting on my feet, I shook my head at Max, how could he possibly say that about somebody who needed us now more than ever.

"Would you have left me?" His eyes go wide, eyebrows furrowed.

"Of course I wouldn't, I care about you more than you think!"

"And I'm glad for that, but have you stopped to think I might care for Abigor too?" Turning around I grip the blanket that was wrapped around my body. I didn't look at Max, or anybody else. I needed to get my point across and I wasn't taking no for an answer.

"I'm going to get Abigor, first thing tomorrow morning. There's some kind of portal in a cave out there in that forest and I intend to enter through there. I'm going in alone since I am a demon I should be fine," Scrapping off some dry blood under my fingernails I turn my head slightly so I could see the three of them in my peripheral vision.

"All I need you to do is have medical supplies and any other supplies ready if we will need them." Met with silence I took that as a yes, walking upstairs to hop in the shower I pass by Abigors room. I drop the blanket to the floor and stumble into the shower, not waiting for the water to warm up. Standing beneath the painfully cold stream of water, biting my lip, I made a silent promise to save Abigor. You've saved me, you made me believe that I was stronger than I could ever imagine, you held me as I was falling apart, I'm coming for you, I promise that. As the water got warmer I stood in place with my eyes closed, allowing the water to heat up my body. I didn't bother to wash my hair, I was more concerned with scrubbing the blood off my ivory skin.

As I step out of the shower I dig my toes into the soft bathroom carpet, glancing at my naked, raw body. I'm filling out pretty well, the large bruises were gone, although the scars were still there, any other visible wound had healed, most likely due to becoming something other than human. Muscles were forming and it made me feel like all the hard work paid off. Smiling shyly at myself in the mirror I wrapped the comfortable, black, towel around myself. Exiting the bathroom with a new light in my eyes, I'm ready to take on whatever life can throw my way. I'm ready to save Abigor.

Tossing and turning in bed I couldn't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep in, thoughts of the past day drowned me in distress. Telling myself that everything will be okay in the end helped a little bit, but I knew I still wouldn't be able to peacefully fall asleep like this. sitting up and throwing my feet over the edge of the bed I stand up, hissing at the cold floorboards. I aimlessly end up in Abigors room, glancing at his undone bed, with sheets tossed to the side. I could mentally paint the picture in my head, of him waking up with his messy, jet black hair, and grumpily making his way out of bed.

Hugging myself due to the cold, I smile. I miss his stupid grin and his stupid remarks. I decide to crawl into his bed, pulling the sheets up to my chin and digging my face into the soft pillows I breathe in deeply. The scent calmed my nerves, as I'm laying here I feel sleep creep toward me quickly. I welcome it with open arms, tomorrow will be a long day, after all, I will be taking a trip to hell.

-I apologize for the short length, I have finals coming up so I have a ton of studying to do. Although I do hope this chapter was enjoyable, have an amazing day/night <3-
