Will's P.O.V.
An emopousa was about to attack him from the behind,
"NICO!!!!!!"
Nico turned around to look at him, too late to notice the spear before it entered his body. Knees buckling he fell to his knees, eyes desperately looking for his boyfriend. Sending him a final smile, hand outstretched, he finally fell cold, arm dropping to his side.
"Nico... Nico!! NICO!!!! NO!!!! No........" *Voice Crack*
Suddenly a warm, bright light filled his body.
White light began spilling out of his body. Then an even brighter light flashed out of his hand.
He didn't remember what happened. But, when he opened his eyes. All the monsters on the field were gone.
He ran towards Nico's lifeless body and grabbed his hand. He started to look around for a heartbeat. Even a faint one.
Nothing.
-------Time Skip-------
Throughout the day, he tried to help all the wounded campers. But, he couldn't get Nico out of his mind.
Piper and Jason approached him with bloodshot eyes. "Will" he croaked.
"You need to rest"
"Jason, don't you understand? Nico's dead, b- because of me! If I hadn't shouted at him. He wouldn't have missed the spear! "
"Will, we all could've stopped it! I shouldn't have just been standing there when I saw the emopousa! "
Piper broke in, "I was right there! I could've- no I should've seen it coming, it's my fault he's dead! It's my fault Nico's dead!" she fell into Jason's arms sobbing.
He looked away, not bothering to drop the extra tears dropping down his cheek.
"His shroud is being burned this afternoon. Be there."
-------Time Skip------
He looked at Nico's shroud. It was black, with dark blue streaks. A skull and bone were adorning it. (Imagine it however you want)
He walked towards the shroud, and for some reason started singing.
You were my Sunshine
My only Sunshine
You made me happy
When skies were gray
You never knew dear
How much I loved you
Why'd you take my Sunshine away?
"Why? Why'd you take my Sunshine away?"
He fell to the ground, and Nico's friends surrounded him and enveloped him in a hug.
The air around him began to fill with cries, and sobs. Will's song had made them realize that Nico.. that Nico was actually dead.
"Ti Amo Nico"
Ayyy! I gave you another sad one!
And ugh, my writing! I keep writing stuff like,
He was going to tell him today. When he arrived. He knocked on the door. Will smiled at Nico. He looked at his soft face. ( I totally made this up right now)I keep writing He, Will, he, he, he, he, he, he!!
