i woke up to a soft hand on my torso, and a raging hangover, the memories of the night before foggy. i turned to see the person next to me, who was none other than the boy with the curly brown hair from last night, who's name i can't recall.
there was no reason to stay in bed with a person i couldn't remember i decided, carefully removing the boys hand from my body, thankful that i didn't actually sleep with him. in the reflection of the mirror right across from me, i could see myself in more than wrinkly clothes and tired expression that forced its way into my face.
i smiled groggily at my reflection, instantly remembering that its saturday, my day off from pretending. i can be holed up in my room, reading, talking to some old friends, and play the piano in my dorm room without my roommate bothering me.
noticing the boy's hoodie i smirked softly, snatching it up and throwing it on, the scent of his cologne filling my nose. i took a quick glance at the boy's sleeping face as i started to throw my hair up in a messy bun. his face was so angular but soft, his eyelashes long and slightly curled with his hair in the state of either i-just-woke-up messy or my-hair-is-naturally-messy. and to be honest, with his curls, it sorta suited him.
"better get to the dorms, carmen," i muttered softly to myself as I finished framing my face with my long baby hairs.
looking at my face in mirror, i smiled at my roughened appearance, puckering my lips jokingly before before sneaking silently out of the room.
i made it halfway through the threshold before the door creaked loudly and suddenly. the boy shifted in the bed to look at me, a small smile on his face as he noticed me wearing his hoodie.
"if you wanted it so badly you could have asked," he said, his morning voice deep and low.
i rolled my eye playfully saying,"see you around aiden," as i made my way out the door.
