Marianna
I take a deep breath in and out even though the nervousness is still getting to me.

"Breath in and breath out." I calmly tell myself.

I hear my phone get a notification and I check it and see Alexandria saying that she was outside my door. I ran downstairs almost tripping over air getting off the last step. I opened the door and smiled.

"Hello." Alexandria said nervously.

"Hi." I replied.

We just stood there in silence for a minute.

"So, can I come in?" She asked with her pony tail bouncing with even the smallest movement.

"Yeah sure, definitely do that." I grinned. I directed her upstairs and she followed behind me.

"So this is my room." I smiled.

"Nice." She awkwardly took her hands out her pocket and stood their.

I sat down on my bed and took out our rubric.

I looked at her seeing her staring at me, "You can sit down, you don't have to stand."

She nodded and took a seat next to me. We talked about the project for a little while then got off topic and got back on topic and off again.

"But, if I did go to mars I would probably build my own fort." Alexandria told me. I laughed and she laughed as well.

For what felt like minutes her blue eyes stared into mine.

"Well erm, I'll print everything at my house." She gathered her things quickly.

"Oh okay?" I said questionably.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow." She stood up to leave out.

"Wait," I told her. She turned around and raised her eyebrows. "Just um call me when you get home."

"Alright." She agreed.

I walked her downstairs and let her out and closed the door behind her.

Jasmyn
"Hi Alan." I said walking up to him. I took a seat next to him on the bench outside of the school.

"I didn't know you got here early." He moved his books to the other side so I could sit down.

"Yeah I usually don't, but I want a fresh start!" I smiled breathing in air.

"Okay." He nodded about to put his earphones in.

"Nope." I grabbed his arm. He looked me up and down and laughed.

"I wanna ask you out on a date!" I exclaimed. I know the boy is supposed ask the girl but I just went for it.

He looked at me confusingly making me scared for a little bit.

"What a brave soul you are." He looked surprised.

"I know right!" I agreed.

"So yes or no?" I asked him twiddling my fingers.

"Sure." He grinned. "I mean I didn't expect that from you."

"Yeah neither did I." I sat as I got up.

I waved at him before I walked off.

Angela
I rushed into the Starbucks and went to the order line. There were like 7 people in front of me. I tapped my foot and folded my arms.

I tapped the lady that was in front of me that looked about 60.

"Excuse me mam, can I skip you thanks." I got in front of the old lady. I mean she didn't say anything so obviously she was okay with it.

I finally made it to the front of the line and ordered a white chocolate mocha.

I grabbed my drink and looked at the way they spelled my name. I rolled my eyes at my misspelled name. They spelled it A-N-G-A-L-A.
Who spells Angela that way? No one!

As I was about to leave out before I knew it my coffee flipped out of my land when this guy bumped into me. I legit fell on the floor.

"Shit!" I exclaimed making everyone look at me.

"Sorry." He reached his hand out.

"Yeah I'm sure you are, while your about to order whatever you're ordering you can go ahead and buy me another white chocolate mocha." I stood up on my own.

I examined him carefully. His golden tan skin and green eyes stuck out to me. I smiled at him awkwardly. I was smiling extra hard.

"I actually work here so I can go ahead and fix that up for you." He laughed. "Follow me."

We walked into the coffee making area where the magic happens.

"Your name?" He asked me standing taller than me.

"Umm Angela." I stared at his muscles as he got ready to write my name.

"God damn." I accidentally said out loud.

"What?" He asked.

"Oh nothing I was just singing a song!" I awkwardly leaned on the counter.

He quickly fixed my drink and handed it to me.

"Well here you go Ms. Angela, I'm Jake by the way." He held my hand a for a few seconds longer than handing a cup of coffee should have went.

"Yeah, nice to meet you." I said before leaving out of the kitchen.

I left Starbucks and got in my car left with a spark of joy.

Tina
"Guess who asked a Alan Parker out on a date!"  Jasmyn announced as she ran up to me.

"Good for you but I have to meet Xavier's parents tomorrow and I'm scared." I told her.

"Okay what's the problem?" She asked me.

"What if she doesn't like me?" I started to think of the bad things. "Or what if she thinks I dress like a slut?"

"Tina, you've been wearing turtle necks since the third grade I'm sure you have nothing to worry about in the dress category." She said sarcastically.

"This isn't funny!"

"Okay Okay." She laughed. "Look you'll be fine."

I looked up and saw Noah walking in our direction.

"You should go." I told Jasmyn.

"Wh-" Before she could finish her sentence or even move Noah had made his way to us.

"Jasmyn we need to talk." He stated.

"No we don't, cause we're not even together." She turned around and walked away.

I looked at Noah and he looked at me.

"Could you talk to me for her?" He asked me.

"Why would I do that for you to shit over her again like you always do?" I  chuckled. "You're funny Noah, nice try." I said before strolling off.

I gave him one glance as I walked away and saw the sadness in his eyes, and this time I believe it was actually genuine.
