9 Turbulence

Jinyoung's POV

Weeks passed with so many things to do. The dance competition that will be set tomorrow made me and Jaebum worked really hard to give our best in the said event. We chose Shinhwa's song entitled 'This Love' to be our background song for the dance. As the rehearsal about to end, I saw Youngjae and Yugyeom gave me thumbs and I can't help but beamed a smile to them. Well, Mark was beside Yugyeom and he gave me wink that I hardly seen. I tried hard to ignore him these past weeks, but he always had his way to rape me sometimes when Jaebum was nowhere to be found and Youngjae was busying himself with Yugyeom at his assignments.

When the rehearsal was ended, I saw Jaebum received a call from someone. He was smiling happily during the call. He went back to me after hung the phone and beamed his smile towards me.

"is there anything good happen that made you smile like a fool, hyung?" I asked him with smirk.

"nothing special actually. It just my cousin will attend to our performance tomorrow." He giggled. "you know that I love her like my own sister."

"Nayeon will come? I heard she was not in Korea." I exclaimed.

"yes, she was. Now, I heard she will start to work in our hospital." Jaebum said and I could see his excitement from his expression. As I remember, Jaebum was always protective towards me and Nayeon. I will mistakenly see them as a couple if I didn't know her as his cousin. They are the heirs from Im Hospital, the most prestigious hospital in Seoul and have most of its doctors from JYP University. That's why Jaebum chose my University as his graduation goal.

NOBODY's POV

Youngjae, Jackson, and Yugyeom were busy enchanting 'JJP' as they watched their performance in the stage after some competitors presented their dance. Meanwhile, Mark and Bambam just silently adored Jinyoung performance as his movements were synchronized with the song. Jinyoung movements were natural and Jaebum made it some plus points with his B-boy dance.

The audience cheered them as they end the dance and went back behind the stage. Yugyeom and Jackson were proud of Jinyoung and Jaebum's performance and Youngjae couldn't pulled back his smile. He informed his friends that he will go to see his boyfriend while Mark missed Youngjae's absence in the audience seat.

Youngjae walked through the hallway to find the dancers' waiting room. He about to reach the knob of the door before a hand reached it first. He turned his eyes to see the person and got shocked when he saw a memorable face in front of him. The color of his skin suddenly disappeared as his face turned pale.

"Youngjae oppa..." he heard his name was called by that person.

Jinyoung's POV

Me and Jaebum went to the stage as our name were called as the winner from the competition. The MC gave me a flower bouquet and a trophy and let us to have a short speech to thank whoever special in this event. Jaebum hyung had his speech first to thank his important person and mentioned me as one of that important person. When he finished his speech, he gave me a microphone to start my speech. My eyes automatically landed on the spot where my friends sat. I looked for Youngjae's seat but he was nowhere to be found. Even after I quickly scanned the audiences but I can't find him. So, I ended up only thanked my best friend and I mentioned Mark and Bambam as my friends too.

I little bit disappointed when I can't find Youngjae in the audiences seat. It turned my mood into the gloomy one. Jaebum patted my back and reassured me that Youngjae probably unintentionally left to restroom for example. It does make sense and I hate it. So, I headed to the restroom to look for my boyfriend. Passed on the hallway, I heard a shout came from one of the room. I followed the voice and ended in the storage room near the rest room. I widened my eyes to see Youngjae was slapped by a girl and that girl was Jaebum's cousin. I hid behind the door to eavesdrop their conversation.
