Jin and I waited for QiLin at a very fancy restaurant.
Mc'donalds.
..
No I'm just kidding.
It really was a fancy restaurant.
"Do I look okay?"
Jin asked.
I nodded.
The door opened.
QiLin came in wearing a blue ombre sequin dress.
She saw us and waved her hand.
Jin stood up and offered her a seat.
"What a very nice dress."
Jin complimented.
She denied and laughed shyly.
"Are you okay honey?"
Jin asked.
He saw me.
I kept flipping my hair.
That it got into the complimentary soup we had.
He grabbed a napkin and wiped my hair.
I just wanted him to notice me too.
No.
I'm not jealous.
The night went on.
"Believe me, at first I was worried too.."
She said.
Huh?
"But Jin was really professional. He knows to separate work and life."
She explained.
Jin just smiled.
I laughed.
"Haha what do you mean."
"I didn't want to accept the job with Jin. But we haven't met in so long that I thought it wouldn't hurt to finally see him now."
She looked at Jin.
He just nodded.
Jin held my hand.
"Oh so you two have met before?"
I asked.
"Oh! Jin? You haven't told her about me? That's okay.."
She took a sip of champagne.
"Mina, I thought you knew? I've told you her name right?"
Jin said.
"QiLin? No I don't recall at all."
I said.
They both laughed.
"We've met back in England a few years back silly."
Jin nibbled my nose.
