I stumbled through the never ending darkness. Kai would want me to be alive. I must keep fighting. I kept walking and the memory of Kai was fading away. Every single memory was fading away. I was losing everything and there was nothing I could do about it.
"You, with nowhere to go and nowhere to return... I grant you a place to belong. My name is Yato. Bearing a posthumous name, you shall remain here. With this name, I make thee my servant. With this name and alternate, I use my life to make thee a regalia. Thou art Kira. As regalia Rekki. Come Kekki!" (from what ive seen, this name is always different, like for yukine its setsu) Light! I could see light! I ran towards the light, and suddenly, I was in a white room. "Kira, I need you to stay strong!" I didn't know who said that, but I did know that my name is Kira, and I must stay strong.

The blade! It got sharper? I swung the black scythe at the giant lizard. "Rend!" I shouted. The lizard disappeared. "Kira." I ran over to yukine, who's leg was bleeding. "Kira, hold on to me." She grabs my shoulder, and I teleported us back to Kofuku's shrine. "Yatty!" Kofuku shouted. I gently placed Yukine on the floor, just in time too, as Kofuku tackled me. "Yukine's hurt." I manage to say through her tight, tight hug. Kofuku let go, and I sat up. Where did Kira go? She was there a second ago. Kira walked out of the shrine, holding bandages and a first aid kit. She calmly walked over to Yukine and started to tend to his leg.
- yukine's pov -
Stupid phantom! My leg throbbed in pain, and I sucked in a breath. I felt someone cleaning up the wound. I sat up, careful not to move my leg, and I see a girl my age cleaning my leg up. "Thanks." I smile at her. "I'm Yukine." She doesn't look up, but she replies with, "Kira." Yato walked over to me. "I had to get another regalia, because you couldn't move and I didn't want that phantom attacking anybody else." So she's a regalia too, huh. Kira finished wrapping up my leg. She stood up and held a hand out to me. I grabbed it and she pulled up me. She didn't let go though. "Can you walk?" "I think so." She lets go of my hand and walks into the shrine while I hobble slowly behind her.

I walk in to see a pink haired girl wearing pink. "So, who are you?" What did Yato say earlier? Oh yea, I'm a regalia? I think? "I think I'm a regalia." Kofuku pulls me into a very tight hug and I manage to choke out, "Can't breathe." "Sorry, milady get very excited when new people come over." Kofuku lets go of me and I see a man standing behind her. He glares behind me and I spin around to see Yato. "Why did you get-" The two start arguing, and Yukine walked over to me. "Com'n, follow me, I'll get another futon for you." I follow him into a room and he sets down the futon. "Thanks." He nods and lies down on the futon next to mine. I lean against the wall and close my eyes. "Hey, Kira, you ok?" Yukine asks. "I-i don't know." I admit. "I don't understand what happened to me. I mean I remember I died but then I appear in the world as a sythe?" I yawn, opening my eyes. "Plus, I'm still in my white kimono. I'm tired, but can you tell Yato I asked for clothes?" Yukine nodded at me, so I curled up into a ball and let the luring sleep catch me.
