I sat there, trying to process what she said. I missed you Kai. Kira pulled me into a embrace. I missed you Kai. I wrapped my arms around Kira. I missed you Kai. "I-I don't-" My voice shook. "Yukine." Kira looked at me and smiled sadly. "It's ok."

"Yukine, Kira, look!" I groaned. Yato probably bought another useless charm. "You got scammed Ya-" "Kira, I bought food." My eyes widened in surprise. "It's not a charm!" Yukine was even more surprised than I was. I wonder why Yato bought food. FOOD of all things! Yato smiled and handed us the bag. It was filled with steamed buns and they smelled heavenly. "What's the special occasion?" I asked, pulling out two buns. "Special occasion? I just decided to buy you two some food." I rose an eyebrow and handed a bun to Yukine. "Just enjoy them." Yato walked off, not allowing us to question him further.

Special occasion? Why, its Yukine's birthday after all. Well, I mean technically its Kai's birthday... I turn around to see the two laughing at something. "Hey, Yato! Catch!" Kira threw a bun at me and I, being the amazing Yato god, caught it easily. "Thanks!" I'm glad Kira is ok. I don't want what happened to Yukine to happen to her, and I definitely don't want her to disappear.

"Those were delicous!" Kira exclaimed. "Yeah, if only food actually got rid of the hunger we always feel no matter what." Kira sighed. "Yeah." Drip. I gasped. "Nora." Kira frowned. Nora walked towards Kira, forcing her to back up. "You're hiding something. I can see it in your eyes." Kira was against the wall now, but I couldn't move, couldn't help her. Nora must have done this. "Kira, you're an interesting one. I like you." Nora smiled her oh so innocent smile and Kira shivered. Nora disappeared and I could move again. Kira didn't move from her spot. I did though. I rushed over to her. "I like your eyes, Yukine. They remind me of the sunset." Kira smiled. "Today is your special day. Let's celebrate it." My special day? Kira looked at me. "Where do you wanna go?" "Follow me." I had the perfect place in mind. Suzuha's tree. The one memory I had of my friend. The only other friend I had.
