Chapter 4

- hiyori's pov -
Kira watched the two guys stuffing their mouth with food, then turned to me. "Are you sure this is ok? I mean do you see how much they are eating? I don't wa-" "Just eat, alright?" I interrupted her. She frowned but took one of the many plates and started eating. Yato cleared his throat and we all looked at him surprised that he stopped eating, well except for Kira who kept eating. "Hiyori, I said I would pay 500 yen so here you go, and come with me, I need to talk to you." "Oh um, ok." Yato and I slid out of the booth to pay for the meal, and Yato smiled at me. "Ya know, Kira likes you, aye? She may not seem thankful or anything, but I can hear her thoughts, and she's happy." I smiled. That girl may seem emotionless and quiet, but there's more to her than that.

- kira's pov -
I ignored the other 3 as I ate my waffles (waffles are better than pancakes i WILL fight you) and hashbrown. Hiyori and Yato left the booth and I was left here with Yukine. I finished and looked up at him, and he indicated to the door with his head. We walked out and saw a cat. Yukine walked to the cat and turned to me. "When Yato first got me, this lil guy decided to steal the fish Yato was gonna make us eat." I smiled despite myself, and walked towards the cat myself. I hear a drop of water and flick my head up. "Nora." Yato gritted his teeth. Yukine frowned. "Yato, I would like it if you called me by the name you gave me." Nora smiled. "I really like it." Just like that, with a drop of water, she was gone. So does Yato even need me? He already has Yukine and Nora. Why did he take me? Question after question, I wasn't sure if I was even needed anymore. I turned around but Yato grabbed my arm. "Kira I-" I bit my lip, pulling away from his grasp and I ran.

- yato's pov -
"Kira!" I ran after her as her questions flew through my mind. I spared a quick glance behind me to see both Yukine and Hiyori running after me. It was only 1:00 PM, but last time Yukine ran away, it took far too long to find him, and he was depressed for days. I messed up with Yukine before, and I needed to show Kira I cared, and that I did need her as my regalia.

happy 2018 everyone :) i cant wait to see what this year has in store for us! the story happens after yukine is a blessed regalia, but nora hasn't been released yet (which happens in episode 13 of aragoto)
