Mr. Nerd's Bad Girl
I crinkled my nose at the mess in the room. Beer bottles were scattered on the floor and it smelled like dying rat in here. Gross.
"Mom!" I called out.
I heard a groan beside the bed and saw her sprawled out on the floor.
"Don't you ever take a bath? You stink." I stood in front of her, arms crossed. "Have you seen the bills? I dont know where they are."
"You wouldnt be asking me if you knew where they were right?" She mumbled, sitting down.
I rollled my eyes. "Shut up and just tell me where they are."
"And now you want to me to shut up but tell you where they are?" She shook her head. "Stupid girl."
"And now you're calling me stupid? Look at yourself. You're so pathetic. Crying over a man who left you in the dirt." I sneered at her.
"Don't cross the line." She warned me, her voice rising.
"Then just answer the freakin question!" I shouted.
"You do not shout at your mother!" She was now standing in front of me, full of anger.
"Who said that I still consider you as my mother? You sure dont act like one!" I shouted back. "Now where are the stupid bills so I can pay for it."
She didn't seem surprised by what I said, but instead got the bills from the drawer beside her bed.
"Here." She shoved them at me.
"Why are they even with you?" I took them and made my way to the door avoiding tripping on the bottles.
She didn't answer and I turned to see what she was doing. She was holding a picture of us as a family.
"You're still as pathetic as before." I scoffed, openning the door.
She began crying, hugging the picture to her chest.
"Move on mother!" I slammed the door.
Ever since my douche of a father left us, mom has gone out of her mind. She started partying, going out with random morons and when those finally bored her, she found a new way of moping. She drank like a fish. Oh, you know what I mean.
As for me, well, I used to be the perfect little child who always obeyed her parents cause she believed they wanted the best for her. Well that changed. No more was the good girl with braids and dolls and whatever. Say hello to the bad girl who skipped school, never listened to her parent and had the greatest loathing to guys.
Yup, I hate boys. Like my father, they have girls wrapped around their finger and and with one snap, leaves them hanging and shattered to pieces. I promised myself to never fall in love with those brain dead, dumb, manipulative jerks. Instead, I was the one who broke their hearts and toyed with them.
And there's this tiny part of my brain telling me that I had a best friend whom I once loved. But I dont think its true. Im just probably crazy. Or am I just becoming cliche? God, I hate cliches. They're all gross and ick-
Stop rambling Sophie. Anyway, that pretty much sums it all up. You just gotta love my life.
I shoved the bills in my bag and my eyes caught sight of something.
"Anna and the French Kiss? Seriously?" I got the book from the kitchen counter and threw it at the trash can.
I think you probably gussed it already. All those sappy romance novels make me want to throw up. Those kind of guys are fictional. I mean, kind, caring, understanding, honest? Puh-lease. You dont see those now. I would never come to like the cheesiness of the couples described there but boy was I in for the biggest surprise of my life.
