Her Cousin's School

Shu adjusted to the new area quickly and was loving her big double bed with plain white sheets.

She woke up a bit late since it was a few weeks into her school holidays but they had just ended in Denmark. Tomorrow was a Wednesday and she had her first day of school since it took some time to settle in. It was her first day when she woke up had breakfast and walked with the older cousins, her Mum and Aunt waved them goodbyes and off they went.

Shu had to go to the office beforehand and the others had to go to classes. Unfortunately for her she wasn't given any directions so she got fairly lost until she stumbled across the office both Danish and English. Her mother had taught her the very basics of the language so she knocked politely on the door and the office manager said 'Come on in!'

She was pleased that they could at least speak English. 'Are you the new foreigner, I'm guessing?' She was embarrassed that they could tell that so easily, so she mumbled 'Yes' and she was handed her timetable 'Don't worry your teachers know it's your first day so it doesn't matter if you come in late' Shu said 'O-ok'

She looked over her timetable she had one at her school back in England but it looked a bit confusing but she managed to make out that she had Science for her first lesson. Where could that possibly be? Room 214...

By the time she came to the front door the teacher immediately welcomed Shu and she had to introduce herself to the class. She was frightened. She didn't expect this. 'I..-I.. Came t-to Denmark to vis-sit my cousins for 2 weeks and.. M-my name is Shuio-. 'Okay that's enough go and sit in the spare seat.

After the school day she met with her cousins at the front gates. The oldest cousin asked isn't your birthday in November, right? She replied 'Y-yeah.. It's on the 7th, I'll be 11.' She thought it was out of the blue but she didn't mind.

They walked home together and anothet cousin said 'Our Mum told us she'll be shopping when we get home, with your Mum so guess what? Carried said out loud 'We're home alone!' The three cousins smiled on their faces. 'Shu do you want to have some fun?' Shu didn't know what to say but didn't want to disappoint them so she said yes.
