Chapter 4

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated wattpad would not let me but it is now!

Bridget POV

I'm really excited to go down to the beach to see what Shawn has. My feet run on the hot sand until they find the cool water. Then I see Shawn. I run up to him and he is holding a little cat in this hands, it's not a kitten and looks around 5 years old. I yell with happiness! "Shawn I always wanted a cat!" I say.

"I know that's why I got us one."

"Can I hold him?"

"Yep I got him from the shelter he is 5 years old but has no name." I look at the cat he is calico he was white, brown, black and orange all in his fur. "Splash" I say " because this is my first splash into my new life.

"Why hello little Splash." Shawn says.

"Let's take him up to the house!" I say. We walk into our beach house. Shawn tells me that he has a bed, a bowl, food, toys, litter, litter box, a leash and a coat his in our room. I laugh I can't believe I didn't notice that! "Come here Splash come here!" Splash walks right over to me hops on my lap and purrs. "Awe!" I say. "Hey Shawn!"

"Yea?" He yells from up stairs.

"What's his back story?"

"Um he was abused." He says coming down the stairs.

"Oh" I say. " I don't understand how anyone could do that."

"Same" he says " I put out his food and water in the Kitchen I put her littler box downstairs and her bed at the bottom of our bed. Let's go show him the bed he seems sleepy.

I carry Splash upstairs and put him in his new bed he falls asleep fast. "I want to sleep too" I say

"Same" says Shawn.

Then he kisses me and crawls into bed. I fall asleep in Shawn's arms and Splash hugging my toes.
