Chapter 5

Bridget's POV

I wake up to the smell of food and a cat purring beside my face. "Hi kitty" I giggle. Then I hear Shawn singing downstairs.

"We don't have the time to be sorry so, baby be the life of the party."

It's beautiful. Shawn and I have been dating for almost eight months and I've never heard him sing. I look at my cell phone and the time says 6:58, I start to walk down stairs and I hear two voices.

"Hey Cam" I hear Shawn say "can you pass me the carrots?"

I think to my self I'll have a shower before dinner. After my shower I want to go out so I curl my blond hair and put on pretty makeup, I put a short summer pink dress and walk downstairs.

"Hey babe" Shawn says "you look beautiful" then we kiss.

"Hey I'm Cam"

Wow he's nice looking. He has dark hair and beautiful brown eyes.

"I'm Bridget." I say

"I know, nice to meet you."

He then kisses my hand and I don't stop him.

Then Shawn steps between us and says we should eat then we can go out to a party down at the beach. We all eat and honestly it's kind of awkward because Cameron is flirting with me the whole time as Shawn and I are holding hands.

"I'm going to go make sure Splash is okay before we leave." I say

I can hear Shawn talking to Cameron as I'm up in our room petting Splash,

"What the hell was that?!"

What the hell was what?"

"You flirting with Bridget, my girlfriend! If I wasn't here you would have kiss her or maybe worse, if you try anything I won't hesitate to knock you out."

Whoa dude, calm down, it was just dinner I won't do anything."

"Ready to go?" I ask as I come down stairs.

"Yep let's go" Shawn says. He takes my hand and the three of us walk down to the beach.
