Chapter 6

Bridget's POV

When we are down at the beach it's amazing to feel the wind blowing in my hair and the sand under my feet. It's about 9:00 so it's already dark. There are lots of people there, some are drunk and others are not. Lots of people are night surfing and others have glow sticks all over them, I have to admit besides the few that are drunk it's beautiful. There are many songs that play while Shawn and I are dancing. As a song called "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift plays I say to Shawn,

"That was beautiful singing today baby"

He blushes and thanks me.

"I didn't know you sang."

"I was too embarrassed to tell you."

"What if I told you I was to embarrassed to tell you?" I say

"Tell me what?"

"That I sing too."

Later on, after about two hours of dancing, Shawn goes to party with a few guys that he meet last time he was in California. I talk to Cameron for a long while. My legs are starting to get a little tired when he asks me to come night surfing. I tell him I'm a bit to tired and he invites me over to his beach house. I know it's not a good idea to leave Shawn so I pull out my phone and I text him.

" Hey babe is it okay with you if I go over to Cameron's house for a bit?"

Two minutes later texts back.

"What about me?"

"Well your with your friends."

He texts back

"AHh! Help!"

I run over to him "oh" I say to Cameron " he's drunk."

He both kinda laugh and then he grabs my hand and walks me to his house. We walk in and we sit on the Sofa. I start to thank him for helping with dinner when he kisses me. I am surprised and pull away.

"Cam, I love Shawn."

"I should be your boyfriend."

"No, Shawn should be and is."

"I really like you, and I won't leave you drunk at a party."

Suddenly without knowing what I'm doing I kiss him.

And he doesn't stop me.
