CHAPTER TWENTY; SELLOUT
Her whole body felt numb and her mind was filled with nothing but guilt. What the hell was she doing? Kissing her ex-lover and possibly ruining what good she had in her life. A tear had fallen from her brown eyes as she sat in the back of a taxi that was taking her back to her boyfriend.
She had pulled away from Seth after they had kissed, her rightful conscious coming back and taking over her mind to give her drunken state a push. Logan looked up at him with widened eyes, processing what she had just done. "No, this can't happen again," She shook her head, the small smile that was on Seth's lips had disappeared when the words escaped her mouth.
She had went back into the nightclub after that, leaving Seth standing behind her looking completely devastated and stupid. She had told her friends that she was leaving, ignoring their protests and then downing two shots before she left to grab a taxi.
And that's where she was now, sitting in the back of a taxi, crying while thinking about the worst possible scenario that could play out the second she stepped into the hotel room. The taxi driver had parked outside of her hotel, but Logan couldn't find the courage to get out of the vehicle. "Just a second," She sobbed, her hands coming up to hide her tear streaked face while the older man sitting in the driver's seat looked at her with pity.
"What the hell am I suppose to do now?" She started rambling on, taking about her life with a complete stranger. "I just kissed my ex-fiancé to be, and now I'm coming home to my boyfriend." She looked at the older man, who looked back at her with a raised eyebrow.
She thought he wasn't going to answer her. She thought she was being completely and utterly stupid that a total stranger would care about her personal life, not caring if the man in the front seat knew who she was or not.
"I think you should tell him, holding it off would just make it worse on the both of you." He had answered her back a minute later, looking at how her features had softened at his words. "Relationships are built on trust, young one. You were drunk and stupid. If he cares, or loves you, he would understand that it was just a drunken mistake."
Logan had laughed pitifully, not wanting that answer to come out of his mouth because he was right. She didn't want to tell Finn about this whole ordeal that took place, but she had to try and fix this even if it meant hurting him in the process.
"I hate that you're right." Logan had told him truthfully while leaning further into the seat. "I'm just so scared of loosing him.. he's the only good thing In my life right now."
The man smiled over at her, "By the looks of it, Logan Perris, you have other things to be happy about."
Logan looked up at the mention of her ring name, and her assumptions about whether or not he knew about who she was, was answered. "Thank you," She weakly smiled back at him, watching his own toothy grin. "here's for the drive home, and keep the rest." She passed him a twenty dollar bill and gathered herself out of the vehicle.
