CHAPTER TWENTY ONE;  DARK DAYS

Logan returned to the backstage area after her segment with Seth and Dean, and she didn't dare look back when Seth had called her name after he returned from behind the curtain. She had heard Dean tell him to back off and leave it alone, or something along those lines when she had turned the corner.

Logan thought she made it pretty clear that she wanted nothing to do with Seth, from the amount less times she had ignored him, not looking in his direction and only briefly speaking to him when it was needed at work.

Now, two matches later, Logan was standing in a hallway jumping from equipment boxes to get ready for her first match as the Champion, and who better to compete against than no other than Mickie James. Logan looked up to the nine time champion in her younger years and now to compete with her was a complete honor.. she could only hope that she would be as good as someone like Mickie.

"Jane," A deep voice had called her away from her thoughts, and Logan looked to her right to see the Lunatic Fringe walking towards her. Logan's eyes immediately went behind him, expecting for Seth Rollins to be following behind but to her relief, he wasn't. "Rollins isn't here, It's just me." He had assured her when her eyebrows rose.

"What's up, Dean?" Logan questioned him breathlessly as she performed another leap frog, landing on the equipment box and then landing back on the ground.

Dean sat down on one of the equipment boxes beside her, "He's really bummed out, you know?" He told her quietly, and Logan wanted to roll her eyes at him.

"He shouldn't of kissed me, Jon." Logan told him sternly while sitting down beside her friend, and leaning her head into his shoulder. "It was wrong of him and now I lost Finn because of him."

Dean began nodding away from her statement, "I know and I talked to him about that, but you can't blame it all on Seth." He told her, which made Logan lift her head. "It's his-"

"It's not just his fault, and you have to own up to that. You're just as much to blame here as he is." Dean shook his head, staring over at her with a straight face. He knew that Logan would blame it all on Seth for what happened, but she needed to understand that, yes, him kissing her in the first place was wrong on his part but she had kissed him back. It was an effort brought on both parts.

Logan didn't want to hear his words, not because what he was saying was wrong, but because it was true and she knew it. She wanted to be right in this situation, blame it all on Seth because it was easier that way. She lifted herself from the equipment box, wanting to leave but Dean had caught hold of her wrist.

"Don't walk away, Lo." Dean warned her which made Logan sigh and turn back around to see the stern expression still on his face, his cold eyes burning into hers. "You need to own up to that, and you need to talk to Finn."
