Contrary

Your eyes are so soft and warm,

but so hard and cold at the same time,

like the cold snow kissing a boiling volcano.

Your lips are so kissable,

but so rough at the same time,

like ghosting your lips over a tree trunk.

Your hair is as smooth as silk,

but also as spiky as thorns,

like water collising with a rocky cliff.

Your mouth is such beauty,

but says such harsh and hurtful words,

like a beautiful violin playing broken notes.

Your skin is as soft as satin,

but as hard as marble,

like a thin cushion protecting a hard wall.

Your hands protect me,

but harm me at the same time,

like a sunny and rainy day.

You are my definition of perfection,

but also my definition of imperfection,

like the right in every wrong.

I tell you you don't know how to love,

and you tell me I don't know how to,

you were wrong.

I may have never received any love,

but I sure know how to give it,

in contrary to you.
