School ends and you drive home. Since Jonathan is picking you up at 4, you have time to touch up your makeup and do some homework.
——TIME SKIP——
You hear the doorbell ring and Charlie barking. You run down the stairs excited to see Jonathan. You open the door and restrict yourself from throwing yourself into Jonathan's arms for a hug. "Hey Alex! Ready to go?" Jonathan asks. "Yup. Let's go!" Jonathan asks you where you want to go first. "Umm. I'm not sure. What's good around here?" "Well, I will show you the places that I like and then I will end this "tour" with a place that I think you will really like. You smile excitedly.
Jonathan took you to his favorite theater, museum, and then his favorite restaurant. As time passes and the sun starts to go down Jonathan grabs your hand and starts to run. "We better hurry so that we can get to the place I want to show you before the sun goes down."
You reach the spot and Jonathan lets go of your hand. "Here we are." It is a duck pond with a bridge over it. There are trees around it and a family of ducks swimming in the pond. It looks so pretty with the reflection of the setting sun on the water. As you stand there Jonathan puts his arm around you and you put your head on his shoulder. You both smile and stay there a little longer.
"We should go home. It's getting late." Jonathan says. "Oh yeah, your right." You say with disappointment in your voice. You walk home not saying a word to each other. You reach your door. "Umm...well goodnight Alex. I had a nice time today." "Goodnight Jonathan. I had a great time! I'll see you tomorrow!" You say as you give Jonathan a lingering hug goodbye. You open the door and walk into the apartment. You smile thinking about Jonathan. You walk up the stairs and get ready for bed. You had a great day with him and you think something is starting to develop between the two of you.
