The Movies Pt. 2

You got in your car with Jonathan and put the keys in the ignition. "So are we going to the drive-in or an actual theater?" You asked. "A drive-in would be awesome! Let's go pick up Corey and River and tell them." Jonathan said excitedly. "Ok." You agreed and headed off to their houses. First, you picked up Corey. He had been waiting for you on his porch. He hopped over the door and into the back seat. "Well hello there Corey." You said. "Hey, Alex. So which theater are we going to?" He asked. "I'll tell you once River is in the car." "Ok."

You soon arrived at River's house and he too was waiting for you guys on his porch. "Hey, guys." He said as he hopped in the back with Corey. "Hey River." All three of you said. "So Jonathan and I decided that going to the drive-in would be cool." You said while driving. "Sounds good to me," River said. "Same here." Corey agreed. You drove to the drive-in and found a good place to park. You brought blankets and a jacket just in case it got cold.

It started to get dark outside while the commercials and old 1950s movie trailers played on the big screen. "Who wants snacks?" Jonathan asked hopping out of the car. "Me!" You said. Jonathan laughed and little. "Ok, what would you like malady?" He asked with a silly fake accent. "I would like a coke and some popcorn, good sir." You said, playing along with the accent. "I'll go with you," Corey said, and they went to get everyone snacks.

"So you like him huh?" River asked out of the blue while you waited for the others to come back. "Huh?" you looked at him confused. 'Does he know that I like Jonathan? Am I THAT obvious?' You asked yourself. "You like Jonathan right?" 'Oh no! He does know!' "Is it that obvious?" you asked with concern laced in you voice. "To me it is. Probably not to him. You know he is worried that you don't like him?" River says. "Wait what?! He likes me back?" you ask. River shrugs and doesn't answer your question, but looks behind you. "Oh hey guys. Your finally back." River says. You turn around and see Jonathan and Corey carrying snacks. "Oh yeah. Finally." You say as the boys sit back down, Jonathan sitting next you. 'Guess that conversation is over.' you thought. They pass out snacks to you and River. The movie starts to play and Jonathan leans over to tell you something. "They ran out of popcorn for the time being, so we are going to have to share." "That's ok." You say and smile. Throughout the movie, you and Jonathan eat the popcorn and laugh at the movie. You and Jonathan's hands touch a few times as you eat the popcorn. You always blush and remark to yourself about how soft his hands are. You tried to concentrate on the movie and not Jonathan and eventually you did.

And although you were watching the movie and enjoying it, you couldn't stop thing about your conversation with River about Jonathan...
