Tolani recently lost her father. It was a big blow to her because she was very close to her father. He would always find a way to provide for her and her mother. Her father was killed. The identity of the killer still remains a mystery. Now that her father is dead, she must find a way to cater for her family. She must double her hustle. Lucky for her, she has rich friends. She decided to approach one of them for help. In the evening,she visited one of her friend’s house. When she got there,she knocked the door softly but there was no response. She then knocked the door hard and realized that the door was open. She opened the door slowly and entered the house. Inside the house was very dark. She brought her phone and used the flashlight app to illuminate the sitting room. She then called out her friend’s name but there was no response. Suddenly,she heard someone screaming from the room located upstairs. Tolani rushed upstairs with the mindset of saving her friend from any danger she might be facing. She traced the scream to the last room. She tried to open the door but it was locked. She had no choice but to breakdown the door. What she saw almost made her puke. She saw her friend naked with a man. The room was filled with scent of sweat. Her friend’s body was intimately fused with old man’s body; they were having sex. They ignored Tolani and continued their action of pleasure. Her friend was moaning and screaming at the same time. Tolani was in an awkward situation. Her friend said with a shaky voice
“Tolani,please wait for me in the sitting room. I will join you soon.”
Tolani left the room and went to the sitting room. After waiting for thirty minutes in the sitting room,her friend and the old man came downstairs. The old greeted Tolani and left. Her friend closed the door and smiled. Tolani sighed and said
“Bimbo,I won't say anything or judge you. I just need your help.”
Bimbo rolled her eyes and said
“I don't care if you judge me but thanks for not judging. You said you need my help, how can I help you?”
Tolani then said
“I have a business plan but I don't have the money to ignite it into reality. Can you help me?”
Bimbo smiled and said
“So you need money right? No problem. I know how you can make cool cash. The question now is, are you sure you are up to the task?”
Tolani frowned and said
“Bimbo, what are you talking about? What way are you talking about now? “
Bimbo then said
“That old man you saw with me with is having a birthday party tomorrow night. Trust me, you will secure a lot of cool cash if you come.”
Tolani hissed and said
“Are you alright at all? What do you expect me to do during the party.”
Bimbo hissed back and said
“What beautiful girls like you do to get what they want. Tolani, stop behaving like a saint jor. I know who you are na. I know what you are capable of. Are you not what guys call the yoruba girl with a calabar engine”
Tolani sighed and said
“Okay,let's say I agree to follow you, how much do you think I will get?”
Bimbo smiled and said
“The old man gave me three hundred thousand naira just now. Imagine how much he will spend during his birthday party. His friends will even be around.”
Tolani put her right hand on her forehead and said
“What time is the party going to start and when is it going to end?”
Bimbo said
“ 9 pm till mama calls. Mind you, Rita and Pearl are also going to the party. I am tired. I want to sleep.”
Tolani stood up,moved towards the door and said
“Goodnight, see you tomorrow. I will call you before coming here next time to avoid seeing you in action again.”
Bimbo laughed and said
“You are not alright oh. Goodnight jare. Dress to kill because we are going to paint that party red tomorrow.”
Tolani left and Bimbo closed the door.
The next day,Tolani brought out her most seductive gown and ironed it. She also brought out a matching pair of shoe and necklace. She started dressing up from 7 pm. She applied makeup for forty five minutes. She left for Bimbo’s house at 8:30 pm. When she got to Bimbo’s house, it was already 9:00pm. When Tolani got to Bimbo’s house, she saw Bimbo, Rita and Pearl. Bimbo was furious with Tolani. Bimbo said with anger reflecting in her voice
“Tolani,you are messing up. I told you the party was going to start by 9 pm. Instead,your arrogant self decided to come to my house by 9 pm. If we leave for the party now,by what time do you think we will get there? We wanted to leave without you,if not for Rita that was begging me not to leave you behind. That man will be waiting for us. I am highly disappointed.”
Tolani said solemnly
“Bimbo, I am sorry. There was traffic on the way. I am deeply sorry.”
Pearl giggled and said
“You guys should talk to yourself later. Let us go to the party now. We can still make it.”
Without hesitation, they left for the party. They reached the venue for the party at 9:45 pm. The venue for the party was the old man’s house. The old man was glad to see Bimbo and her friends. He welcomed them into his house. He had other guests in his house. He was celebrating his birthday in grand style. Bimbo was occupied with the old man. One of the guests approached Tolani,Rita and Pearl. The guest was a middle aged man. The man smiled and said
“What are three angels doing in the gathering of men?”
Tolani,Rita and Pearl giggled sheepishly. The man then said
“It looks like the angels are shy. Come sit with me and let's enjoy ourselves.”
Tolani, Rita and Pearl followed the man to a couch. They sat on the couch; the couch was comfortable. The man then offered them drinks. The girls declined the offer at first but accepted later due to the man’s cheerful cajoling. Bimbo and the old man chatted and laughed at a corner. Everybody was having fun at the party. With a bottle of champagne in her right hand,Bimbo said to the old man
“Wow, nice party. I love this party. You are very lucky to be celebrated like this. Can I ask you a question?”
The old man smiled and said
“No problem. Go on and ask your question.”
Bimbo giggled and said
“Although I know today is your birthday,I don't know how old you are. So how old is my darling today?”
The old man smiled and said
“Do you really want to know my age? Ok, for me to tell you,you have to do something.”
Bimbo then said
“No problem. What should I do?”
The old man whispered to her
“I want you to dance for me. Can you do that?”
Bimbo laughed and said
“Yes,I can do it. You are lucky because I am a very good dancer.”
Bimbo stood up and climbed the table in the center of the room. The old man said with an expression of confusion
“Bimbo, what are doing?”
Everybody was surprised to see Bimbo standing on the table. Rita whispered to Pearl and Tolani
“I think Bimbo is drunk. I think she is about to disgrace herself. “
Bimbo instructed the DJ to stop the music. She then raised up her champagne and said with a loud voice
“I want to make a toast to the celebrant. Mr Ojo has been very supportive. He is like a father to me. So everyone,raise your wine cups and let's celebrate the reason for this occasion.”
Everyone present in the party laughed and raised up their cups. Together they drank the wine in their wine cups. After the toast, Bimbo dropped her champagne and said
“Now, I asked the celebrant to tell me his new age and he said I should dance to obtain his answer. So DJ play me Wo by Olamide.”
The DJ obeyed her request and as soon as the song started to play,Bimbo started to dance. Her dancing was a little bit provocative.Bimbo then turned her back to Mr Ojo and started twerk. Everyone started to cheer her up. As everyone was cheering Bimbo up, Rita noticed four hefty men at the door entrance. The men were not there when she and her friends entered the house earlier. After Bimbo finished dancing,Mr Ojo signaled the Dj to stop the song. Mr Ojo stood up and said with a loud voice
“Bimbo, thank you for the toast. I thank you all for coming to celebrate with me. Now, I am ready to answer Bimbo’s question. Today,I am 200 years old.”
Bimbo laughed out loud and said
“Stop it jor. Tell us your real age na.”
Mr Ojo smiled and said
“I speak the truth darling. A wise man once said that action speaks better than words.”
Suddenly,the light turned red. Mr Ojo’s clothes suddenly disappeared. He was stark naked. Bimbo,Tolani,Rita and Pearl were scared. They looked around and saw everybody laughing. Their fear intensified. Bimbo,Tolani,Rita and Pearl ran towards the door. The four men at the entrance blocked their way and pushed them back. Mr Ojo said with a smile
“Pls bring the girls and let's start the ceremony.”
The men seized the girls and dragged them to Mr Ojo. Mr Ojo said some inaudible words and suddenly,a black calabash and a small knife appeared in his hands. Everybody started to clap and chant some strange words. The men forced the girls to knee down. The old man looked at Bimbo and said
“Okay,let’s begin. I will start from my favorite.”
He moved towards Bimbo with the calabash and small knife. Bimbo tried to struggle but her effort was futile because of the strength of the man holding her down. The lifted up Bimbo’s head and kissed her lips. Bimbo bit his lips. Mr Ojo smiled and licked the blood from his lips.In a quick manner,Mr Ojo slit Bimbo’s throat and collected her blood in the black calabash.The other girls screamed in fear. After draining Bimbo’s blood, he drank her blood. After drinking the blood,his body started to change. All the wrinkles on his face and body started to disappear. He was getting younger. Suddenly, the change stopped. He was now looking like a middle aged man. Mr Ojo then said
“Her blood is not enough.Bring me her friends.”
The men dragged Rita, Pearl and Tolani to Mr Ojo. Mr Ojo quickly slashed Rita’s throat, drained her blood into the calabash and drank her blood. The body change started again but stopped almost immediately. Mr Ojo moved towards Pearl and slit open her throat. He then drank her blood from the calabash. His body started to change. He was now looking like a young man in his twenties. He said with a smile on his face
“It's time to look like a teenager. Bring me the last girl.”
One of the hefty man dragged Tolani to the Mr Ojo. Tolani knelt down in front Mr Ojo. Tolani said
“Please don't kill me. Please,I recently lost my dad.”
Mr Ojo smiled and said
“Don't worry,I will be quick. You won't feel anything. I think I am even doing you a favour because when you die, you will see your father again.”
As Mr Ojo was about to slit Tolani’s throat, Tolani started to laugh. Mr Ojo was surprised. Suddenly, Tolani light skin turned dark; dark like charcoal. Her two eyes moved towards each other and fused into one giant eye located in the middle of her face. Her nose was nowhere to be found and her mouth developed razor sharp teeth. Mr Ojo dropped the black calabash and knife on the floor. Tolani flinged the man holding her down and moved with great speed towards the entrance of the door. As soon as Tolani got to the entrance of the door,she closed the door and smiled. Tolani said with an eerie voice
“It's been a long time I tasted human liver. I have been surviving on cow liver. Now, I am about to have a feast.”
The middle aged man that spoke to her and her late friends tried to attack her. She twisted the man’s neck. She then use her sharp finger to rip out his liver with great force. She ate the liver hastily. Mr Ojo face was filled with fear. With tremendous speed, Tolani massacred everybody except Mr Ojo. She ate a total of fifteen livers. Mr Ojo ran towards the door. As he tried to open the door, Tolani grabbed his leg and dragged him back. He hit his back against the wall. Tolani walked towards him and said
“I begged you but you refused. I hate your type. You think the world revolves around you. Help me say hi to my dad.”
Mr Ojo picked up the small knife and stabbed Tolani right shoulder. Tolani chuckled and said
“Really,it’s that the best you can do? I am very disappointed.”
Tolani stretched forth her hand and ripped out Mr Ojo’s adam’s apple . Mr Ojo held his throat to stop the bleeding. Quickly,Tolani removed the knife from her shoulder and stabbed Mr Ojo multiple times in the stomach. Mr Ojo groaned in pain. Tolani peeled off the skin on his stomach slowly until his internal organs were visible. She then pulled out his liver and ate it slowly. After eating the liver, her skin turned back to normal. Her gown was drenched in blood. She then moved around the house and searched everywhere for money. Luckily for her, she found a large sum of money in a briefcase hidden under a bed in one of the rooms. She walked towards the door and opened it. As she moved outside, she checked her wristwatch. It was 2:35 am. She walked back to her house. She got home at 4:00 am. When she entered the house,she saw her mother sitting in living room. Her mother was surprised to see Tolani covered with blood. Her mother said with a low voice
“Wow, I thought you were going for a party. You did not tell me you were going to hunt.”
Tolani smiled and said
“The hunt came to me. Mum, I am tired. I want to sleep.”
Her mum said
“Before you sleep,I have good news for you.”
Tolani then said
“Can the news wait? I am extremely tired right now.”
Her mum sighed and said
“It's about the killer of your father. I found out the identity and location of the killer from the private investigator I hired.”
Tolani said with vast attention
“Seriously? Tell me who killed dad.”
Her mum replied
“I found out that the name of the killer is Kemi and she is presently in a psychiatric hospital in Yaba.”
Tolani said with tears in her eyes and anger in her voice
“Time to pay Kemi a visit. I hope she likes her liver cooked.”
Tolani dropped the briefcase on the sofa and said
“ That’s enough to sustain us for a long time.”
Tolani then showered and slept comfortably on her bed.
