"Why...?"

'I didn't mean to'

"I trusted you..."

'You can still trust me'

"I-I loved you..."

'I hope you still do...'

"and this is how it turns out...?"

'It wasn't supposed to be like this.'

"Fine. I hope you're happy with her."

'I'm only happy if you're by my side.'

The door closed, the heavy atmosphere suffocating the red-head as tears sparkled in his eyes.

Kuroko had just caught Akashi kissing some other girl—in their bedroom.

Which brings us to the current situation;

Akashi planning on how to apologize to the teal-head.

'Flowers? No. Chocolates? Not really...-'

"The future is still unknown."

The sound of the telephone caught Akashi's attention.

"Hello? This is Akashi Seijūrō speaking." Akashi's voice wavered a bit, he was still slightly affected by what just happened- by slightly, I mean very.

"Akashi? It's Midorima."

"Midorima?"

"Yes, Akashi. Anyways, I just wanted to ask if you and Kuroko are doing okay. I saw him crying while running down the street—not like I care or anything, nanodayo."

'tsundere.'

"Hello? Akashi?"

"Ah yes, about that..."

'Should I tell him?'

"You two fought, didn't you?"

'How did he kno-"

"Oha Asa said that Sagittarius and Aquarius were not going to have a good day together, so...tell me what happened."

"..."

"Akashi?"

Akashi gave up, the green haired Shūtoku player was one of the few people he trusted.

"I...I cheated on Kuro-"

"WHA-I mean what?!" the green haired male exclaimed.

Midorima sighed.

"And he found out, didn't he?"

"..."

"You should go say sorry to him, something bad might have happened- oh, and bring with you a cabbage and a yellow bandana, nanodayo."

Akashi chuckled, already knowing why the megane carrot asked him to bring those.

"Thank you, Midorima."

Akashi hung up the phone, collected the items "needed", and made a dash towards where Kuroko is-

Akashi abruptly stopped.

"Damn it, I don't know where he is." He whispered to himself as he was locking the door.

'Guess I'll just have to look.'

Akashi tried looking for Kuroko at all the places he could be- Maji Burger, Seirin-

'The park...'

Ah, the park; where Akashi confessed and the two shared their first kiss. Cliché, I know- but Kuroko was a sentimental person and the red-head knew that well.

It was already dark; the stars were out, shining as they illuminated through the black sky. Amongst the empty benches, there was one with a teal haired-

"Kuroko!" The red-head exclaimed as he spotted the phantom.

The latter turned around, shocked.

"Akashi-kun...?" Kuroko's eyes widened as he stared at the person approaching him.

At that moment, Akashi wrapped his arms around the teal-head. The emperor kept muttering apologies, tightening his grip.

"Kuroko, I'm sorry. I won't be happy with anyone else unless it's you. I love you- I'll love you forever, so please... don't leave me, stay with me."

Kuroko was crying, he reluctantly hugged the red-head back.

"Forever?"

"Forever."

The two then kissed under the moonlight, forgetting everything else and focusing on each other.

"Let's focus on the present, while you're still here with me."

"Akashi-kun?"

"Tetsuya, first name basis."

"S-Seijūrō-kun" Kuroko stuttered a bit.

"Good. Now, what was it you wanted to say?" the red-head asked

"Ah, right. Why do you have a cabbage and a yellow bandana...?" the teal-head questioned

"For good luck."

Kuroko decided not to question any further.

YEY~ I finally updated. It's my Christmas break, but I still have a lot of homework to do ;-;
