O N E
Participant and Spectator Etiquette

If you choose to be active in this account's processes and competition, you must refrain from harassing others, using derogatory slurs, promoting hate groups, spamming with self advertisement or chain mail, and/or discouraging competitors.

Any behavior not specified above and punishments for committing one of these acts is up to the administration's discretion. They will be handled on a case by case basis.

T W O
Plagiarism Policy

The PWC reserves the right to remove your entry if you are suspected of copying another's work. Several plagiarism programs will be used to detect copied writing.

If caught plagiarizing, the author will be banned from competing that year.

T H R E E
Book Length

In order for your entry to be judged, does not need to be completed, but it must have a word count at or above 20,000 words at the time of the entry deadline. This is for the full-length book categories only. For the one shot category, you will be required to submit an entry with one part containing under 5,000 words.

In the event your entry falls between 5,000 and 20,000, you will not be eligible for any categories for this year's PWC. We may consider adding a short story category in the future.

F O U R
Book Entries

Authors are allowed to submit books for both full-length themed categories and for the one shot category in the same year. However, if one of the full-length categories has under 5 entries, that category will be be merged with the other and a book will have to be sacrificed.

Prewritten Books

Books written before entries are allowed to be submitted for that year may be entered if they fit one of the themes.

However, entries that have been submitted for the PWC in the past may not be entered again under any circumstances. Those that have entered in the PWA or PWL in the past are eligible for entry.

Mature books are allowed in the PWC as long as they comply with Wattpad's mature guidelines. Books qualifying for the mature filter must be labeled as such.
