Chapter 1

The boy sitting on the other side of the glass wall in an orange jumpsuit didn't turn to face me when me and my assistant, Matthew, looked in through the glass doors.

He was so beautifully broken, just the way I liked my toys. I liked my clients to start as hard as rocks, rocks so difficult to break, but when they do, there was no putting them back together. They had to be rebuilt.

Matthew shuffled through the paperwork in his hands, pulling out one paper from the slick black folder. "This one's name is-"

"Harold Osborn, son of the deceased Norman Osborn." I quickly summed up Matthew's sentence, turning to to him with an arched brow, "Shall I introduce myself?"

Matthew shook his head in disagreement. "I wouldn't.-"

Against Matthew's protest, I was already walking towards the scanner. I held up my card and with a woosh, the glass doors opened. "Mister Osborn, my name is Katherine Donovan-"

"Mister Osborn was my father. Please, call me Harry." He turns to look at me, eyes filled with amusement and lust to finally have a visitor that wouldn't threaten to kill him. He extended his hand in a friendly gesture.

Hesitantly, I shook it before speaking again. "Harry, I am here-"

"Let me guess, my babysitter?" He chuckled roughly.

The corner of my lips twitched in slight annoyance at his constant interruption.

"I wasn't aware that you were a baby," I smiled innocently.

Harry stood up, towering over me, that careless smirk not daring to even moving a centimeter on that perfectly sculptured face.

"For you i'd be whatever you'd like." His laugh began to sound menacing as his features began to change to a horrifying olive green color. A goblin was the only thing that came to mind.

"Miss Donovan, step back!" A guard called out as two other pulled me out if the cell.

"Aw, come on, we were just getting to know one another!" Harry's eyes peered through the glass as the door locked.

I shot Harry one last cocky look before turning to Matthew. "That was intense," I breathed a little nervously, flipping my dark brown hair out of my eyes.

I've never seen such a creature that took over a man as quickly as the Goblin did to Harry. This was fascinating indeed, and I thought my abilities were unique.

"Excuse his manners, Harry hasn't learned to control himself quite yet," A man spoke from the darkest of the room, thanks to the drabby lighting.

"I seem to have that affection on men....." I whispered to myself under my breath so no one could hear.

"Which is where you come in, Miss Donovan. Having special abilities such as Mister Osborn has might help him cope with his differences, and possibly use more physical combat instead of unleashing the Goblin twenty four seven." The man's face is covered by a hat, making it unable to point out his facial features.

"You want me to teach him how to fight, physically, without unleashing the Goblin?" I repeated the man's proposal, turning to face the boy in the glass cell. His human looks returned, and again he turned away. Well, I guess I couldn't call him a boy; he was a year older than me.

"I want you to teach him control."

Power is nothing without control, and in Harry's case, insanity is the war that I am faced with. But, in all chaos there is calculation, and the only way to break Harry was to teach him calculation and control.

"I'll see what I can do," I answer to the hidden man with a grin. "With a team of highly mutated engineered men, teaching Harry won't take long."

"Good," the man spoke cooly, "because if you fail, this will be goodbye to your future, Miss Donovan."

Yay! Chapter One! I'm excited for this because it's finally a different fandom than Once Upon a Time. 😅
