I have never liked mornings.

Nothing Important has ever happened past ten o'clock,so what's the point?

Today especially feels even more terrifying because of the events that follow the day.
I take a deep breath as my heart drops to my stomach at the reminder of everything.
I turn the other side and try to wrap my arm around someone, but I realize that the bed is empty.

I open my eyes slowly and scan the bed and then the room.
Sunlight comes in through the windows, but that's not the part that catches my attention.
No,what makes me smile and thank God everyday,is the three pair of blue eyes at the end of the bed.

They're looking at me while chuckling slightly.
I assume they're exited too?

May 13th. Luna 8 Alex,age : 10 months.

"Please, just eat your damn carrots." He sighs in surrender as the tiny humans have obviously won.
They both grin from their high chairs as Hunter brings the spoon to their mouths, and they close it.
"Maybe If you say please again..." I smile as I look through the letters.

"Fuck off."
"Language." I chuckle as he rolls his eyes.
"Besides, you claimed that you could get your kids to eat carrots because they seem to love you more. I'm waiting, sir."

"Come on baby,Daddy'll let you eat whatever you want!" He says bringing the spoon close to their mouths again.
"How about you Luna? You wanna eat the yummy carrots?"

"Why is there a letter from Columbia University?" I hold the letter up in confusion as Hunter doesn't turn his head, not fazed at all.
"Beats me." I doubt that, but open the letter anyway.

Dear Miss Carter

We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted at Columbia University School of Law. We are confident that you...

"This is a mistake." I breathe out as I can hear my heartbeat in my ears.
"It says that I got into law school. But I didn't apply." I look up and see him smiling.
"You did not."
"I didn't do much actually. You did. Congratulations baby."

"What the fuck where you thinking?!"

I know,I know. Language.

January 22nd. Luna & Alex, age: Two years and six months old.

"I can't go back to school."
"I have two babies."
"Who will take care of them?"
"How will this even work?"
"You have a job?"
"I don't want them to grow up without my love, thinking that I chose my career over them."
"What If I fail?"

These were all the damn thoughts and questions I had the day I got the letter that I was accepted to law school.
Of course, being a lawyer has always been my dream, but my love for my babies was never as close to that.

But there Hunter was, convincing me that we can do this.
After weeks of explaining it to me,and convincing me,I bulged.
The man made a Powerpoint presentation, for God's sake.

He bought a medium apartment close to the University.
He worked more from home than the office, but nonetheless we also got a Nanny.
Nina,a beautiful and intellectual lady, who is also Mexican, because we wanted Alex and Luna to grow up around someone who could speak Spanish to them,so they could learn more about their heritage.

Yes,I was getting tired as hell studying, and class was kicking my ass,but that was only the beginning.
Until I got a hold of who I am,I struggled,but then,I unleashed Daniella Carter,the baddest bitch.
If anyone was gonna graduate and become a lawyer,It was me.

So here I am,on the floor with my Constitutional Law books everywhere, while we also play with the twins.

"Luna, can you say mamma?" I ask as she stares up at me and ignores the question.
I bite my lip as I look at both of them.
Alex has been saying quite a lot of words, like mamma and dada.
He also mentioned food and toys, but nothing yet from Luna.
