Miles handed me another drink, we were both sitting in the sand as everyone else talked, danced, and drank.

"Where you from?" He asked. He turns over on his side so he is looking at me. Miles was adorable, he had big green eyes and reddish brown hair.

"Far far away." I joke. He rolls his eyes.

"I think you are really pretty," Miles starts, I internally groan. "But I have a girlfriend and I don't think she really wants to be with me." He sighs. I roll over on my side so I can see him.

"Why?"

"Shes like one of those girls who want to be higher up in school. And like when soccer season is over she breaks up with me and then goes with a football player." He gives me a sad smile.

"I want dump her, take out the garbage. You don't need trash in your life." I shake my head looking up at the stars. "You don't need trash." I repeat.

"When's the last time you had a boyfriend?" He asks. I sigh.

"My last school, I was dating a foot ball player. He was sweet and all, but I wasn't feeling the connection. You know what I mean? Or maybe, I just read to many books." I let out a laugh.

"I feel ya." Miles moves over so he's closer to me. "Don't let those football boys take advantage of you. They go through girls like underwear." Miles warns.

"I like Marcus, but only as a friend." I tell him. His face turns sour when I say Marcus's name. "Why Don't you like him?"

"Other than that's he a football player?" He asks. I nod my head for him to proceed. "He's a jerk, he broke my sisters heart too." He snarls. Miles doesn't seem like the one to get angry that much, but when he does it's kinda scary.

"He hasn't been any thing but nice to me." I comment. Miles rolls his eyes. He sits up on his elbow and looks down at me.

"He's going to lure you in and hurt you." He caresses the side of my face. "I'm going to listen to you and dump the girl who is using me. Take my advice and don't get to close to him."

"Miles!" Someone shouts, he jumps away from me and lands on his towel.

"You freaking frightened me," Miles hisses. Ryder sits down on my towel as I sit up.

"Didn't Want you to get too cozy with new girl." Ryder smirks.

"Where's Riley?" I ask. Both of their eyebrows shoot up.

"Does Piper have a crush on Riley?" Ryder yells.

"No, he just said he'd see me later." I state.

"Means he wants to get laid." Miles smirks.

"Not from me." I bark. Ryder nods his head thoughtfully.

"Maybe, just maybe. You could try me out?" He grins. I kick him in the shin.

"Nah, I think I'll pass." I grin at him. He raises his eyebrows at me. A song comes on and a lot of the boys stand up. Including Miles and Ryder. Ryder grabs my hand and stand me up.

"Pour up (drank), Head Shot (drank), pass out (drank), wake up (drank), faded (drank), faded (drank)!" They all start singing.

I smile and shout the words with them, every time they said 'drank' we would take a drink. After the song I felt a bit tipsy.

Riley ran over to us, only on his swimming shorts. "Lets go swimming!" He shouts to everyone. Everyone cheers and runs out toward the water. I sit down on my towel and enjoy the drink I have. "C'mon, Piper. Swim with me!" Riley whines.
