"Daddy!" Jax screams as I start shaking. "Daddy!" And then I don't know what happens.
...
When I finally get out of my trance my head is pounding, but I hear Jax and Riley talking.
"Is she going to die daddy?" Jax asks.
"No, buddy. She's going to be okay. You should get some sleep. She'll be up in the morning."
"You promise?"
"Yeah." I hear them leave the room and I sit up. My head is pounding and my back hears from the position I'm in. I stand up, but hold onto the sofa because I'm still a little dizzy.
"Oh, you're up." Riley says scaring me. I jump and fall against the couch. "Sorry, um, do you need anything? Like water?" He asks walking over to me. I shake my head and close my eyes so the world stops spinning.
"Shat," I say and lean into the couch. "I'm going to go take a shower." I croak out and stand again. He rushes over to me and holds me up. "I can get there myself, Riley."
"I'm sure you can, but it would be easier if you got help." He pulls my legs up and just carries me to the bathroom. He starts the water and looks over at me cautiously every two seconds.
"Would you stop that?!" I snap at him. He shuts off the water and looks at me as he splashed the water in the tub.
"What happened?"
"I had a seizure." I tell him. His eyes widen and he shakes his head.
"You has a seizure in front of my son." He says, his eyes narrowed. "He's probably going to be traumatized for the rest of his life!"
"You act like I can make myself not have them!" I hiss as I hold my head. "At least I don't die in front of him so calm yourself." I point toward the door. "Get out of here. I want to take a bath."
"But what if you have another and drown?" He says as I push him out the door.
"Oh, stop acting like you care!" Then I push him out and lock the door.

Marcus picks me up on Monday for school, even know I have my own car. He says that it's a way of saving money and gas.
"So, how was your weekend?" Marcus asks as he parks at school.
"It was good. And yours?" I ask getting out of the car.
"It was good, but it would have been better with you." He winks at me. I roll my eyes and shake my head. "I was thinking that you could sit with me and the guys at lunch today? I mean, we are friends so we should like get to know each others friends. And well, I know everyone and since you're kinda new I thought maybe you'd want to meet my friends." He rambles.
"But I thought that football players don't like soccer players?" I ask. People watch us as we walk down the hallway toward his locker.
"But you're a girl, you're not like the guys." Marcus says as he grabs his books. "and I like you so the boys will have to suck it up." He quips. I lean against a locker and watch him. "Wanna hang after school?" He asks shutting his locker.
"I can't. I have practice. We have a game on Thursday. You should come." I nudge him. He shrugs his shoulders. I pout my lip and look at him through my lashes, "for me?" Then I bat them. A smile breaks over his face.
"Fine. I'll go, if I can. My parents know I never go to soccer games and then they'll wonder why and then they'll think you're my girlfriend and then they'll want you to come over and then start planning our marriage." I giggle at his rant.
