School Rules

I grew up in a boarding school. I was always abused and left out because I was part of what you would call now 'The Nerdy Squad.' I never liked that name. There was me and only one other kid that supposedly fell into that category.  Her name was: Kelly Pench. She was wearing glasses, playing games and she LOVED math. And I mean LOVED. Every time I saw her, she was either on a calculator or was doing extra math homework she managed to obtain.

Although she was very smart, the school rules didn't allow people to take extra homework, or for it to be late. People didn't know what I was though. In the assembly, only certain people are invited. The people who are invited get an invitation in secret. The next day, I walked to where the invitation said the assembly was being held.

It was surprisingly being held suspiciously close to my house. I didn't like that one bit. I finally arrived, and there was nothing there. Suddenly, I blacked out. I woke up in a dark room where I was tied to a chair with a light bulb. I know that seems really cliche, but bare with me. I started hearing footsteps coming up what seemed like stairs. I braced myself for the worst. I then realized something shocking. Nobody else had gotten an invitation for this 'assembly.' I had had a dream that I was giving out the invitations to people because I was the head of the assembly.

I then heard the footsteps again, they were closer. I heard now that they were behind me... They were.. circling me? I looked up, now realizing that my head had been down the entire time. I saw that whoever was walking around me had shiny black shoes, and a mask that seemed that it was his actual face. I was beyond terrified. I was going to die at 13. I wanted to live.

I started struggling, and struggling  but it was no use. It just made more noise than I wanted there to be. The man looked down on me, and I was frozen with fear. He started speaking. The chains rattling before had been so loud they started to make my ears ring. I could still hear him enough though. He raised a knife as he said something.

"Sorry, but its school rules."

And the knife came down and plunged into my stomach.
